Users / What Android app to use
« on: July 29, 2014, 09:13:11 am »
Hey,

Before, I used an android app to control my home. But I can't seem to find this app anymore.  ???

The only app I can find is the qorbiter. But honestly, this doesn't have a good GUI for a smartphone (LG Nexus 5). I tried to change the skins, but it keeps returning to the 'red-like' skin. fe When I want to select a room, I need to scroll and scroll and scroll, and I see a lot of ID of devices I prefer not to see. The floor layout is so small it's not usefull.

So any hints where I can find the old app, or if I can change a setting in order to have a more userfriendly GUI with the qorbiter?

Hey,

Last days, I played around with the users and the group they belong to. And did also some apt-get udpates. And now I can't login anymore with samba protocol. Apparantly the user don't exist anymore?

The clientPC = Windows 7 & Linux Mint 17
The user = brientje

Users / "Respond to events" is 'empty' after restore
« on: May 19, 2014, 06:52:56 am »
Hey,

I just had to reinstall my linuxmce server... A OS failure disk...  :-X
But no prob, i've got a backup. ;)

I just restored all data, and put the databases back in place.
But to my surprise, the 'respond to events' are empty when you look in the admin page. All other settings seem to be corect.
When I check the database itself, I see that the the table 'pluto_main'-'Eventhandler' contains all my created events.

Any hints what I've forgot/did wrong?

Users / EIB: relay hangs in scenario?
« on: November 28, 2013, 05:53:18 pm »
Hey,

I'm using now for about 2 years linuxmce to control my home automation. And it works greats... ;)
But this week, when I trigger my 'house sleep' scenario, a relay hangs. Before, I used this scenario almost daily.

The strange this is, that with console (groupswrite ip:127.0.0.1 3/1/81 1), I can normally control the relay.

But when I runs the scenario with that relay, the relay doesn't switch of completely? I need to manually give it an extra push. But when I check the status then in linuxMCE, this relay is still in the 'on/1' status.

Any idea?

Users / Heating Boiler Viessman
« on: October 31, 2013, 03:37:32 pm »
Hey,

I would like to take a next step with LinuxMCE, namely connection my heating boiler (Viessman) with my server.
I saw that Viessman has a model to connect with EIB.

Do you guys think this will work with LinuxMCE? Or are there other solutions?

Users / Events log
« on: October 08, 2013, 02:33:31 pm »
Hey,

Is there somewhere a way to see all 'triggered' events?
From time to time, i'm wondering when this or that happened, so it would be nice that this could be seen in a kind of log file.

Feature requests & roadmap / A kind of search function
« on: May 28, 2013, 03:11:52 pm »
You create some scenarios for you lighting (respond to events, timed events...). And when you leave your system for a while, you don't remember what you used for what. Ever happen to you?  :P

So maybe it's a nice idea to have a kind of 'where used' function for your lights and so?
This way, with one click, you could see where you're using that device.
And of course, it can help when you're need to debug something as well.

Users / VPN setup (change port 500)
« on: January 17, 2013, 01:40:04 pm »
Hey,

I think that the vpn tunnels are by default created with UDP500 and UDP4500?

Unfortunelly, my provider blocks all ports below 1024.
Any suggestion what i need to change in order to have this work?

Users / Alert Logs
« on: January 14, 2013, 05:56:53 pm »
Hey,

I've got some IP-camera's, and some sensors.
When i now have a sensor that's triggerd, the camera takes a snapshot. I configured this asis through 'security > active sensors'.

The problem i'm having is that when i check 'security > alert logs', i've got 3 pictures at that timestamp.
2 with 'photo not available', and 1 with a nice picture.

Any idea what goes wrong? Or where i can check (uncheck) this?

Users / Change default phone menu
« on: January 11, 2013, 06:24:51 pm »
Hey,

When i call my system, i got a nice 'phone menu' to choose from (insert direct number, leave message....).
But i can't find where i can change this.

When i call *98 100, i can record a personal message. But this isn't changed when you call the system.
Where should i change this?

ps in fact, to start, it's enough to drop directly to the general voicemail. I'm a bit afraid that my callers won't listen to the whole menu...  :(

Users / [SOLVED] Voicemail in 1004
« on: January 10, 2013, 02:56:34 pm »
Hey,

My voicemail seems to be failing. After the 'ringtime', the call just stops. Nothing more, nothing less.
Any idea what's going on?

When i check /var/log/asterisk/full, this is what i see:
Code: [Select]
[Jan 10 14:42:33] WARNING[7112] file.c: File pluto/pluto-default-voicemenu does not exist in any format

Where should this file (pluto_default-voicemenu) be located?

Installation issues / [SOLVED] /"index.php isn't found
« on: December 16, 2012, 12:06:57 pm »
Not sure what happend, but i can't reach my admin page anymore.
This is the error i'm recieving when i'm going to http://192.168.111.1/lmce-admin/index.php:
Quote
The requested URL /"index.php was not found on this server.

When i check my apache2 logs:
tail -f /var/log/apache2/error.log
Quote
[Sun Dec 16 12:04:23 2012] [error] [client 192.168.111.41] script '/var/www/"index.php' not found or unable to stat, referer: http://192.168.111.1/lmce-admin/
[Sun Dec 16 12:04:23 2012] [error] [client 192.168.111.41] script '/var/www/"index.php' not found or unable to stat, referer: http://192.168.111.1/lmce-admin

'm guessing it has something to do with the double quote in front of index.php, but i couldn't find this in index.php...

Other sites on the server are running fine...

Users / [SOLVED] DAY/NIGHT = Time or 'timeframe'?
« on: November 26, 2012, 07:53:17 am »
Hey,

I'm using several 'respond to events' where i choose DAY/NIGHT to happen different things. fe:
  • lights on when i come home at night
  • lights not on when i come home at day
This is working great btw

Now i was trying to make some things happen when night falls. But for one or the other reason, it seems to fail.
I added:
  • Timed events
  • Days of week: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7
  • Time: NIGHT
  • ...

I'm wondering if we can use the term NIGHT/DAY as actually time, or is this only for a kind of timeframe?
