Installation issues / MD issue ECS A960M-M3 1004

 having issue getting new md to work 1004
Board: ECS A960M-M3
Eth: Realtek RtL8111E Gigabit Lan
diskless is working on my test laptop
starts to PXE boot but seams to halt at   [     0.287129] [<c0104087>] Kernel_thread_helper+0x7 /0x10     before it even anounces to router
any suggestion what i can do to correct this issue or am wasting my time with this board or is it the eth card

Installation issues / Netflix as button? 1004 working on KDE desktop

MCE 1004
been messing with wine firefox and silverlight got netflix-desktop working on the kde desktop but not sure how to get it into mce as a button
anyone have any ideas?
crosses fingers hopes someone didn't get this far already and find isn't Possible to get it inside mce and only runs on the desktop.

edit: if Possible under under media under the main scenario but computing will do

Installation issues / Remove items from database only 1004

have other files showing up in media list
under media mixed in with movie lists are files like black.mpg, air quality.mpg, door.mpg, along with others from setup how do i remove them from the database only not delete them from the disk entirely?
im sure its some button under my nose but im just not seeing it.

Installation issues / [Solved] internal network ETH0:1 ?

8.10 beta
2 network cards both identical
External is on eth0
but internal is showing eth0:1
as is will not comunicate on internal network with any of my devices (windows pc, DNS-321, MD diskless boot
had a similer issue before som time ago but just whent to etc/udev/70-persistent-net.rules and change there the eth0:1 to eth0 but now it seems different could be because last time had this problem was alpha
it dosnt show the 2 interfaces as i remeber it did in alpha only the eth0

i then whent to etc/network/interfaces and changed eth0:1 to eth1 i then lost access to webadmin and internet on the core so that was a step in wrong direction i then changed back and am back to square 1 no internet or communication on internal network

I decided to check the sources to see why im getting this error and found

and the source folder structure is different

what can i change to correct the download location?

tried both dvd and manual install same result 810 beta after fresh  install im still at a january update cant get most current

Installation issues / how do i shut down mce to do an upgrade?

im running 2.31 and want to upgrade to 2.34 but dont know the proper process do i shut down mce and just do the normal latest release install. dose this overwrite my media? is there a guide.

Installation issues / [SOLVED] MD stop at moon login

MD stop at moon login just did a fresh install to fix a 3 adapter problem with no internet access on internal
network now all that is ok im useing my laptop on it now.
however the MD get to the point of a/v wiz and reboot and come to a stop at moon** login and wont go any farther i did a image rebuild tried 2 diff pcs includeing 1 i know worked on the previous install but with no net access. followed instructions http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/LinuxMCE-0810_alpha2 what can i try to pinpoint the problem?

Installation issues / No internet on Diskless MD's

release 810 core/hybrid + 2 diskless MD extenal apears to be on eth0 and internal to eth1 the core has internet access but MD dont and cant get drivers to download
plug and play and net boot all work fine have a 2 nic setup modem is into eth0 card built in and eth1 local pci add in card. internet is thew starband sat provider. md's boot to
linuxmce menu black back ground videos from core are presnt but cant play as MD are in a limbo of downloading nvidia glx , pluto nvidia, and mozzila. been at this for 2 weeks now and im stuck.  ???

I hope its not the starband as wont have cable internt in my area for another 9 months  :-\

Edit forgot an item in the admin web under network setting it shows 3 network adapters but only 2 are in the system is that the 1 on the MD showing up?
