i think some one has ported the orbitter to work on an android os and not just the weborbitter  which works really well on the eken ,you might want to wait a week or two

hi
i've been looking at my phone setup in the advance section of the web admin page and have noticed a comment on the freepbx system status page that reads this is a very old
and unsupported version and there are 42 updates and modules and asks would i like to update
i have not got a working phone setup at present although my voip account is shown as registered on the status page
should i run the updates or will it crash my system or would it just be easier to reinstal lmce to the latest snapshot my current version is
freepbx 2.3.1.0
lmce 20100427
thanks steve

Hi Bulek

yes i have seen the ess speaker template wiki page and will start studying the code to see if i can get it to work
i got it secondhand of ebay for $100 without the ir remotecontrol which would be very handy for testing

thanks steve

hi
i had some more time to play with this today and is now working although on a some what more expensive interface here is the wiki
http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Cueserver_dmx_lighting
this interface has the ability to send messages to lmce to keep it updated and also has 8 contact closures which can also send messages to lmce i plan to use this as an alarm system , can anyone point me to some basic examples please and also an example of #184 command i am using it as the dimmer for the lights i have it turning the lights on, off and to 50 % but can't workout how it steps to 60 or 70 %

i think the original board has a setting that is wrong and plan to contact the manufacturer and will update this post

thanks steve

hi
i have set up the weborbiter 2 on the eken m003 and it works well especially with the dolphin web browser
ive been playing with sipdriod to see if it will work as an sip phone in lmce and i have followed the link
http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/EP-636_SIP_Phone#LMCE_Setup
then after downloading sipdriod to the m003 i have config the sip account  in account setting
auth id - is the extention setup in lmce
password - is the password setup in lmce
server proxy - is 192.168.80.1
domain - 192.168.80.1
username - or caller id extention setup in lmce
port - 5060
protocol - udp
and it has a green light and says its registered on the m003 however when i try to use it to intercom one or all of my md it just drops out how can i test the lmce side ?
