Linuxmce does not support the use of rtsp.
What you have to have, like i said is, an jpg url. Mean an url which delivers an true JPG not mjpeg,
i don't know it for your model, maybe you can play around with some settings from this site:

Normally every ip camera does support this kind of "snapshot" view. but some vendors does not give out the string.
I believe dlink will. Just give them a call.

can you make sure, that the mjpeg stream of the dcs-5222L looks identically to

http://<dlink camera username>:<dlink camera password>@<ip address>/cgi-bin/video.jpg

if so, it should work with the tempalte from

http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/D-Link_DCS-5300G

if not, you should modify this template.
Nearly every ip cam should work, as long as it can provide a single snapshot image via cgi command

In Room#'s 3 & 4 what device is receiving the audio commands? If you have no external device like an Amplifier then it would be the AppServer for the MM in each case.

Andrew, there is no MM in the room. For each sonos or logitech i created a seperate room and entArea and assigned it to.
wasn't that correct?

So i took a look at the amp. When a DVD or mkv is played (with DTS or DD) then the DTS led lights up. If an MP3 or a CD is played, than only the ANA or analog is light up

i have two upnp devices

#57 Sonos 3 (Room 4)
#103 SqueezeBox Radio (Room 7)

they both work fine in just playing sounds (or displaying favorites)
But they won't switch the volume.

in media_conf, i have following lines:

Room=4; AudioDev=57; VideoDev=; KeepScreenOnForOSD=no
Room=7; AudioDev=103; VideoDev=; KeepScreenOnForOSD=no

should the volume Control work ?

yes i registered it and the tv says "hey, great, its registered" and under registered devices there is a DIANEMO-107 s.th.

sorry bout that, but it was hanging for more than 3 hours at the "nvidia installing" message, so i thought, that you have gone away :-)

But know, i only have one problem....

(and yes i have read your wiki, its like a bible to me :-))

HDMI works for dts
But it does not work for stereo.
Mean i can't hear any cds or mp3s and even movies with stereo won't work.
All other things like dvd with dolby digital sound is no problem.

Furthermore all mkv files are not working anymore

i deleted the MD completely. Now its device 125.
After recreating it, i can switch to 1080p in av wizard (btw, now the naming of the connectors is different anyway).
I choose the second - longer - soundcard and get both dd sound, but no stereo through hdmi.
