Did any users of the EEEbox got the remote working on the MD?

Did a clean install of the core with LinuxMCE new-installer 7 and alpha2.20.

The MD shows that it is booting and installing from the server, but after a while
screen loses signal.

Made a 10 minute movie of the whole process
The screen goes black after a list with [ok].

The last 4 of the list are

starting bluetooth [ok]
starting manager result [ok]
starting anachronicm etcetc [ok]
starting (i cannot read this but it has "command" in it and consists of 4 words) [ok]

Right after that my monitor loses signal and says "no signal"

Pressed all buttons, started with 1 and I ended with 9, after that just start pressing all buttons

Maybe to mount it on a VESA wall mount??

In the Netherlands:

With OS the price  is Euro 450 ex profit and VAT/BTW

This is the price shops can buy it.

Also reply from Shuttle (mighty fast), all builtin hardware will stay builtin, so no harddiskless as for now

On the European website it is configurable, but only with extra mouse and keyboard.

Tried to get an Asus eeePC 206 working bootless, tries to install software, but then the screen gets black.
The diffence with the ASUS box eeePC 202, is the Network chipset and that it has an ATI onboard video chip (3400)

What I did.

Core
Install 810 Alpha Core (using 810 alpha 2.18 of 08-May-2009)
Follow standard MD netboot installation sequence

MD
Change bootsequence MD (via BIOS)
MD boots, gets IP address, and installs
Screen gets blank, no HDMI signal.
Tried to press "1", but did not do anything

Very nice idea,
I want to contribute. I have an Asus b206, and want to make a page about it, if i get it working.
The nic works out of the box (after boot order change in BIOS)
But after installing LinuxMCE through PXE, the HDMI signal dies, I do not know
if this is because of the ATI card or that something else happened.(using 810 alpha of 08-May-2009)


P.S.
I don't know about the Asus b202, but I had to press "ins" for quite a while
to see the BIOS screen, and then press "f1", it took me a while to figure it out.
If it is the same with your b202, I would recommend to add it to your wiki.

As my new house is becoming more and more my house, after intense construction,
I have finally come to the stage of ordering ISP + COAX.
As I would like to have digital television, and I am very scared of ordering the wrong system.
My research shows for instance that the wired KPN system is very restricted, and wireless system not an option.
Without reinventing the wheel I would like to ask Dutch users of LinuxMCE the following.

• Wich digital television system are you using
• Are you happy with it?
• Did everything work out of the box?
• Which equipment did you use?

Maybe we can make a wikipage from your/our findings.

This seems like an ideal touchscreen kitchen MD
