Usually you can copy /usr/pluto/lib/* to your src/lib folder and that will provide what you need.

The linksys phone receives a dial tone and the asterisk system talks to me.

Are you trying the use the SPA3102 as an FXS (connect analog phones as an extension) or an FXO (connect POTS as a trunk)...?

Easy way to fix the Fahrenheit problem in DCE: Let the whole world switch to water based Celsius instead of human based Fahrenheit - problem does not exist anymore Smiley

Maybe we could resolve this if I filed a ticket in trac...?

...the "Queue instead of instant play" is fixed...

I just wanted to say thanks to Sambuca for fixing this bug.   Kiss

I hadn't been consistently using the system enough, until very recently, to realize that it was a bug and not user error.

For what it's worth, I voted to keep it as is.  I think that I will always prefer to queue instead of play.  However, an interesting twist to that option would be to have a user-specific override.  I don't know how feasible that is, as I have not looked at the code involved.  I'm merely making an observation.

I'm aware of the crash when installing on 1.6, I don't know why it's happening yet, it only happens when installed from URL though, if I install through USB using ADB the app installs and runs without issues on 1.6.

It also crashes upon install on 2.2 for me (direct download from your site).

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE ABSOLUTE LATEST RELATED CHANGES IN SVN ON YOUR SYSTEM FOR ALPHA/BETA VERSIONS!

Something like this should get you updated, if you didn't already know (like me).
Code:
svn co http://svn.linuxmce.org/svn/branches/LinuxMCE-0810/web/lmce-admin /var/www/lmce-admin

If you get errors related to un-versioned directories, you may need to add the --force option to the command like this.
Code:
svn co --force http://svn.linuxmce.org/svn/branches/LinuxMCE-0810/web/lmce-admin /var/www/lmce-admin

Any authorities on the subject, feel free to correct me where applicable.

I get "Expression failed" just by listing the outputs on my machine.
Code:
dcerouter_1:~# squeezeslave -L
Expression 'snd_pcm_hw_params_set_buffer_size_near( pcm, hwParams, &lowLatency )' failed in 'src/hostapi/alsa/pa_linux_alsa.c', line: 421

So, I'm not sure that is specific to the output device.

did you sudo first before you tried?
-Coley.

I get this as root.  It still works fine, though.

Looks promising.

Anyone else used one of these with LinuxMCE?

No, but I'm looking forward to hear your results.  I have some ceiling speakers that I just installed and still need a permanent solution for (temp. using an old car audio amp and usb audio adapter).  Also, I'm looking to add more rooms into the mix.

Let us know how it works out for you.

EDIT:  I was also thinking of diy'ing something with these: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-385 and running multiple units off of one efficient power supply.

This has a telechips SoC TCC8901, which is very similar to the SmartQ V7 (TCC8902).  It's an armv6 CPU.  Maybe you could build off off what tschak909 did for the SmartQ V7.  Maybe not.

Who knows what kind of linux it has.  Another typical development/reference board pretending to be a real end-user product, most likely.

It will be an uphill battle, to say the least.

Have you changed bulbs recently?  If so, are they compatible with your dimmer?
29  LinuxMCE / Developers / Re: Touch Orbiter for WinCE 5.0 - Why not port it to your favourite Device/OS? on: September 07, 2010, 04:56:16 pm
...
ps; The problem with the image streams I was having seemed to be related to different Readers and InputStreams using the Socket Input Stream. I was reading the first line using a Reader object and the byte buffer using a DataInputStream. Changed the first line read to use the same DataInputStream and seem to be OK at the moment.

Darren

haha...I had a similar experience when creating the UnOrbiter.NET (touch orbiter for .NET framework).

The problem manifested itself in a different way, but it was essentially the same problem.  I used one object(StreamReader) to read the first line (it has support for ReadLine method) to get the image size and another(Stream) to grab the rest of the stream.  I didn't pay close attention to what the StreamReader was doing to the buffer.  Lesson learned Smiley

This shortcut cost me some headaches, for sure, so I feel your pain.
