I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but you'll probably encounter fewer problems using 0810 alpha with that board versus trying to get it to work with 0710. Beyond getting the video to work, you need to recompile the kernel to include the Realtek PHY NIC support and then use the workaround for the HPET/MythTV bug.
Believe me, save yourself the hassle and go with 0810. Whatever you do, if you want S/PDIF or TOSLINK support you'll need an ASUS breakout board (can be found for $20 on ebay) and ALSA 1.0.20.

So after a clean 0810 2.26 install my VistaICM2 w/ Vista-20P was detected, but the DCERouter log shows that it failed to download. LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Restart Xineplayer

Could the App Server be used to kill and respawn the xine player? (I'm not really clear on exactly what App Server does or the correct parameters to pass to it...)
I don't really see anything else that could be used in the Media Scenario editor to automate restarting xine whenever a video is played.

Just a side note - not all Vista panels are supported. You need to have a panel that uses addressable keypads; this means Vista-10 and up. Older Vista 4100 series boards, for example, use all the same wiring, sensors, and ecp bus protocol as new boards, and new keypads are backwards compatible with old boards, but Vista-10 and up recognize keypads individually while the older boards see all the keypads as the same.
That being said, a new rev. 7 Vista-20p can be had for less than half the price of the ICM module. If anyone needs to upgrade their board, make sure you have a 6138, 6139, or 6160 keypad to program it.

Thom's framebuffer orbiter could probably be compiled for ARM processors and used on pretty much any ARM embedded wifi-enabled touchscreen computer. Put a nice bezel on it and mount it in the wall.

Just thought of one thing that I've always considered a bit odd. Is there an inside margin within each button background, which will never contain letters or an icon? For example, "Speed dial" has letters from the far left to the far right, a very tight fit. "Phone book" does not, it was put on two lines. Perhaps if is possible to use e.g. 95% of the full button width, when the need for a newline is evaluated?
Domodude, The width parameters for the text can be adjusted in designer, or a quick fix would be to change the names in the scenario editor. Instead of on a single line having: Speed dial Put it on two lines: Speed dial hit update, and voila, problem solved. The text will actually center itself because of the existing object settings. :Matt

I used an MX Air for a while on 0710 with btnx - I was less than impressed. The mouse looks slick, but the button action was pretty finicky. On the flip side, I *am* very happy with it as an unfortunately expensive cordless mouse for a regular desktop computer.

It looks like a DVI->HDMI adapter will work with the card, so that means it must be DVI-D. Unless the card's DVI port can act as DVI-I as well, a regular DVI->VGA adapter wll not convert digital to analog. Do you have an extra HDMI port on your TV? If so, I'd try an adapter. They're only $4 or so at monoprice.

What is the specific video card model? Is the DVI out on the card DVI-I or DVI-D? If it's DVI-D then a regular dvi-vga adapter will not work - you'll need something like the HDFury2. If it's DVI-I then you probably need a custom modeline in your xorg.conf file.
