@Gangsingen: I asked hari (who wrote the driver for 1wire) about that a while ago and his answer was that there would be needed a little modification in the climate plugin. I have not looked into it yet, but would like to get just the value displayer as well...
IF
Yeah! "A little modification"..... Maybe a good starting point to start learning how the stuff really works under the hood?!!

Wow!
A couple years ago I bought a kit with one USB-adapter and two sensors from china for like 30bucks. I never got the USB adapter to work in linux using either digitemp nor OWFS, so it has been collecting dust ever since...
Guess if I got surprised when I plugged it into my 10.04 core and added it manually in web-admin and IT WORKS!! All I had to do was to plug it in, add the device in webadmin and assign it to a USB port. It detected the sensors automatically and now I can read the temp on my orbiters, WOW!
Is it possible to strip out the uninteresting device state data from whats displayed on the orbiters (ON/AUTO/) ?

Yeah... I am on 1004 atm If you just CAN'T wait till it is folded in... you should be able to wget http://deb.linuxmce.org/ubuntu/dists/lucid/beta2/binary-i386/lmce-skins-bluecrystal_2.0.0.45.11121525259_i386.deb dpkg -i lmce-skins-bluecrystal_2.0.0.45.11121525259_i386.deb I don't think there are any dependency issues... but I have no idea what will happen. Thanks, that made it...and AWESOME job RayBe!!!

Understood.
For now, apt-get install lmce-skins-bluecrystal fixes it.
Canīt find package lmce-skins-bluecrystal...... Updated sources.list to the one used in 8.10 internet installation wiki article!

Looks awesome, thanks alot! Canīt get it to work on 810 though. New fresh install from 8.10 final DVD and trying to update&upgrade, got the error and using the solution discussed here: http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php/topic,12091.0.htmlDid update sqlCVS in webadmin and the BlueCrystal skin is available in the drop-down list on the orbiter page. If I select the bluecrystal skin the orbiter falls back to the basic skin. Any hints of how to solve this?!

your kids should probably not be allowed to use the net without supervision. You shouldn't delegate parental control to some software..
Exactly my opinion too. Ppl should educate their kids what internet is, what there is and what is ok and whatīs not. Blacklisting and blocking "bad sites" wonīt work in the long run.

Just wondering from those running PLCBUS if anyone has tested their "standby" power usage. They say "<1W" on the modules, but I found my in-wall light controllers were drawing 9W each, the 2-light controllers 17W, plug-in power controllers around 20W. I only noticed when I got a power meter and it showed my lighting circuit was using up around 270W with all the lights off.
I liked PLCBUS, but changing to Z-Wave because I'll have saved enough to pay for the Z-Wave in a couple of years.
Very interesting!! How did you measure the power consumption? What kind of "tool" did you use?

Same here. In some cases the tags were incomplete, like album name was Julens S when it is supposed to be "Julens Sånger".
I think that this only happens when the tags include special characters.

Hi! Are the TP30:s easy to set up as Squuezeslaves? Is it just to plug it into the core / md and follow the squeezeslave instructions in the wiki, or do I need to config the TP30 first?

Hi max666!
Iīd suggest you to buy a few PLCBUS modules and the 1141 to begin with and play around with them and to learn how they work before you go ahead and buy all modules you need. Donīt spend hundreds of dollars on something that may end up not working as you expect the to work.
I have now, during several months had LMCE controlling a few lights and I have to say that the system is pretty reliable. In a few weeks Iīll have my house rewired and Iīll install a 3phase coupler and more modules. Hopefully the 3phase stuff works, as nobody (?) has tested it out yet with the new driver.

you did state "the lamp turns into a dimmable lamp"
So do you mean that the device template of the child changes or are you referring to the buttons on the orbiter?
br Hari
The device template doesnīt change, its "only" the orbiter buttons that changes.

Okey, the PLCBUS saga continues. I have now started experimenting with my WORKING lmce install. PLCBUS1141 works perfectly, but I discovered one funny bug. Here is what I found, testing a non-dimmable plug-in module (PLCBUS-2027U). When I add a non-dimmable lamp (device template 37) in web admin and set the channel number, the lamp will work perfectly (after reloading router of course) UNTIL I choose a Floorplan object type for the lamp. As soon as I set the lamp to any of the floorplan objects, the lamp turns into a dimmable lamp. That results in a lamp that I only can turn off, but not on.
