Installation issues / Installation hang on second step. Please help))

I have running installation of 710.
Hardware:
ASUS M268-VM mobo with NVIDIA 7050 onboard
4 GB RAM
Phenom 9800 4-core CPU

I got new HDD for fresh install of 810. Install goes through on the first step(installing from DVD). I got Kubuntu up and running. LinuxMCE installer runs fine as well. When it reboots and goes through AVwizard there is no audio(( But after that screen goes grey starts flashing "installing: xxxxxx" and finally hangs for good at "installing: firefox". On reboot I stuck at console login prompt, no X.

Any advice??

Gene

lol, you are selling software and don't even know about the license?

brave man you are,
Hari

I'm really sorry, but I'm not selling software. My goal is to help people who is not technically savvy to enjoy the benefits LinuxMCE, absolutely terrific open source package, can offer.

OK, I got the picture, thank you.

I guess I'll have to wait till current crisis will clear up a field. Because craigslist is full of offerings....

I noticed the site is live and is using Unauthorized Linuxmce logos and selling unlicensed products.

I suggest pulling the site before you have issues.

Tim

Quote from wiki: "The following images are considered official logos for the LinuxMCE project, and are placed here for use by project contributors, members of the press, and vendors wishing to show compatibility with our system."

>> unlicensed products

Please enlighten me what is this suppose to mean??

Or I would have registered that domain a year ago.

Well, since this name had been hosting porno sites for a while, at list now it is clear of it. Somehow I don't think been associated with porno industry is helpful for LinuxMCE community anyway.

I still think that converting this name into virtual mall with many individual stores will greatly benefit whole community.

Hello to everyone on the site.

I've started playing with LinuxMCE few month ago and accidentally fell in love with it. So when one night I've checked name linuxmcestore.com and found out that it is available it was too compelling to register it and park at my hosting. Now I'm thinking, since that name is really broad one and I alone probably would not be able to fill it up to it's true potential, I'm thinking to convert it into virtual mall where everyone interested could get a storefront. Thoughts?? Ideas?? Comments??
