3  LinuxMCE / Feature requests & roadmap / Script to recognize credits for movies/dvd on: August 19, 2009, 12:16:20 am
Hello!
Is it possible to write some kind of script witch can recognize when the closing credits of a movie begins? It will be usefull for hometheaters so for instance the lights goes partly on when it starts... the same would be intresting for dvd menues (so it recognize when a the movie actually starts)... Is it possible, or is it already made?

It would be really cool if a android orbiter was integrated with androids UI (using its menu button to bring up the computing, sleep menu, power, more, etc buttons), so the tilt function, and maybe even a widget view just whats playing (and maybe some other things).
Is it posible to get the information out of linuxmce so it can be rendered in the orbiter (in this case the android handset)?
If true, then I'm intrested in take part in this project.

11  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Motherboard on: August 09, 2009, 10:46:43 pm
Hey!
I don't know if this is right forum or not, but... I'm going to build a hybrid server and i'm looking for components... I have looked at the silverstone lc20 case, and i find it intresting, but a little bit big... But i have problems with finding all the other components.
So: Does anyone have an idea of a smaler case? and a fitting motherboard with hdmi and optical or coax spdif?

Thanks

Hey!

I know I only can watch the free-to-air channels.

If the HVR-4000-HD (Hauppauge! WinTV-HVR4000-HD, Hybrid) works for you (on norwegian network?), maybe I go for it...

BTW:
here is a discription of how to get the FloppyDTV card work with non-free channels (norwegian): http://avforum.no/forum/digitalt-bakkenett-kabel-tv/69141-rikstv-pc-cam-krypterte-kanaler.html#post871650

14  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / DVB-t card for MPEG-4 on: May 28, 2009, 07:21:07 pm
Hello!

I need a DVB-t card to work with the norwegian tv-network, riks-tv. It uses MPEG-4/H.264 and AAC-HE sound. I already have tried Hauppauge Nova-T-500, but it is unstable.

Do you have any advice?

Is it possible to use Digital Everywhere FloppyDTV-T/CI?
