Not yet, still busy bringing up a fresh core and squashing bugs.

I found an error in the script and was able to correct it, and ran a good restore.

I installed a clean Core, and tried to do a restore. It did not work, just opened the admin page in it's frame. Is this known, any news?

Users / Re: Can events dim a light only if the light is currently on

It would be great if certain events could use "states" based partly on light status. For example, I started playing a movie late last night and I already had the lights off. When the movie finished, the lights automatically came up as usual, but I would have preferred if they'd stayed off (my preference indicated by the initial condition).

In other words, turn up the lights post-media only if they were on when the media started.

I'm guessing it's not feasible given the current code, but if it were possible it would make the system quite powerful.

Pretty much what I was faced with. If we could use IF/THEN type statements in events and scenarios, it would be very powerful and open up tons of possibilities. It is definitely an important feature and one I would donate for (the other is netflix online). I so wish I could code!

No, not a linuxmce bug, but definitely a problem since linuxmce uses Myth. I am still digging, and will update if I find anything. But for anyone else having an issue, just downgrade for now.

Yes, 1080i with AC3 over the air antenna.

I need to create an event that sets a light level to 20, only if the light is currently at a level over 20. Is something like that possible? Some sort of IF statement?

It is virtually unwatchable in Xine - video choppy, or pauses and speeds to catch up, audio drops out. If I watch the recording in MythTV, it is better but still choppy at times. After I rolled back, everything is perfect again. I am using 9500GT video card with audigy AC3 sound card and VDPAU on.

I rolled back using the archived packaged, and problem solved.

I have tracked down a recording playback problem (very choppy, hanging video) to the mythtv upgrades.

The following packages were upgraded:
libmyth-0.22-0 (0.22.0-fixes23565-0ubuntu0 => 0.22.0-fixes23710-0ubuntu0)
mythtv-backend (0.22.0-fixes23565-0ubuntu0 => 0.22.0-fixes23710-0ubuntu0)
mythtv-common (0.22.0-fixes23565-0ubuntu0 => 0.22.0-fixes23710-0ubuntu0)
mythtv-database (0.22.0-fixes23565-0ubuntu0 => 0.22.0-fixes23710-0ubuntu0)
mythtv-frontend (0.22.0-fixes23565-0ubuntu0 => 0.22.0-fixes23710-0ubuntu0)
mythtv-transcode-utils (0.22.0-fixes23565-0ubuntu0 => 0.22.0-fixes23710-0ubuntu0)

After these packages were upgraded, and a show was recorded, I could not play the video. Once the packages were removed, I still could not watch the recordings, but new recordings play fine. Any ideas?

Those changes will not stick. To make it permanent, edit /usr/pluto/bin/

Comment out the lines for the local drive path

I did an apt-get install lmce-hulu-plugin on the core, and reloaded the router. Hulu works now.

Makes sense. I can launch it from kde fine. Is this a bug, or is hulu simply not ready yet?

I just did an apt-get upgrade, and installed hulu.

When I launch hulu, I get the message: I cannot play this media. Perhaps there is no a valid device in this entertainment area capable of playing it.

So it was not as simple as updating sqlcvs DCE and Designer repositories, and selecting Hulu Player from the software modules. There may be something else that needs to be done.
