I would say it looks like an interesting core... when you install lmce it should eventually show the avwizard; here you'll configure it to use the most basic user interface (UI) and it should boot.... I don't know if its gonna work as a good media director because of the video card and it should have a relatively big hard drive for core (although you could you a NAS).  But it should boot take a look at this to make sure you configure the avwizard:

109  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: NVidia GT220, no AVWizard on: July 10, 2010, 03:44:05 pm
From my experience lmce will try to update the driver to 195, but at install it has 173.  It apparently tries to update right before the avwizard, so try ctl-alt-F6 then ctl-alt-F8 to see if its actually updating or download...  But yes it does install 195

I am having the same exact issue... with xv the hd content plays (not extremely well, but it plays); when I switched to vdpau i just get a black screen with sound. Although there was a noticeable improvement with everything else once I manually switched the hardware acceleration from xv to vdpau.

I just got my hands on a WebDT 366 GX and I'm pretty sure its the sameone Ive seen on the videos.  Seems like the ultimate remote, but the link on the wiki is down and I couldn't find a link here so I figured I ask to see if someone knew of a working like to the WebDT366 orbiter image.

Thanks
114  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: PROBLEM w/ cx88-dvb and WinTV NOVA-S-PLUS on: December 08, 2008, 03:03:40 pm
well, I found out that the driver may not support the "demod" of this particular model.  I'm not sure if this is correct or not because after I came this conclusion I installed Windows and found out the card was not working there either.  Upon further investigation I realized that there was "burnlike" marks on the board so I am in the process of sending the card back for a new one.  Once I recieve a new card I will give it anther shot and post the results.

Thanks indulis for your reply
115  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / PROBLEM w/ cx88-dvb and WinTV NOVA-S-PLUS on: December 03, 2008, 07:24:58 pm
I've spent alot of time trying to setup the NOVA-S-PLUS DVB-S card on a default installation of LMCE according to a post on here that card should be 100% compatible with LMCE; but it won't work.  Basically it seems to detect everything on the card except dvb.  So I end up with /dev/video0 but no /dev/dvb.

According to : http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=3785.0

The card should work perfectly; but the cx88-dvb driver will not load.  Please help, I don't want to return to Windows
