1  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: Can Not gain Access To FreePBX Setup on: September 11, 2012, 08:09:53 am
I will add my 5c.
The big killers for me not using it are support for multiple trunks & custom inbound/outbound routes.
I have three trunks (home VoIP, backup land line & office), whereas the current setup seems to only be useful for one.

Regards,
Josh

Hi fastie,

To view the status of an IAX trunk, use iax2 show peers instead.

Got some good news from Internode today:

Hi Joshua,

Thank you for the notification regarding our LinuxMCE Mirror.

http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/linuxmce/

After investigating this issue we can now confirm that the mirror is now up to date and will continue to receive future updates.

I'm Currently downloading iso at 2.2MB/s Smiley

I let internode know about the old information & they seemed interested in mirroring the current site. Will let you know how it turns out.
6  LinuxMCE / Users / ISPs LMCE Mirror on: September 15, 2011, 04:59:43 am
Hi Everyone,

I have been having trouble trying to get a copy of the 810 final ISO, i assume everyone else is trying to do the same.

It was then I remembered seeing a LinuxMCE folder on my ISPs mirror here: http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/linuxmce/
I took a look, but it seems to have quite old stuff in it, where are they mirroring it from?

Regards,
Josh

Thanks Thom,

Thats a bummer. You would think after a stuff up like that, they would make an exception & rebuild the drivers.

Anyway, I will probably be grabbing at least one for another project, can always try them when new drivers are released.

Hi Everyone,

Just came across these: http://www.fit-pc.com/web/
Would these work ok as an MD &/or low power core?

Saw this project recently: http://julius.sourceforge.jp/en_index.php
Would it be useful?
10  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: anybody using 1-Wire devices? on: August 09, 2010, 02:17:49 am
I currently have several 1 wire temperature sensors connected to an arduino.
Currently it uploads the data to pachube.com, but I would be interested to know if someone gets it working with LMCE, maybe LMCE could use some of the pachube services.
11  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Analogue phone call box + ATA for doorbell solution? on: April 11, 2010, 03:11:15 am
Wen using VoIP systems, its better if you can avoid using Analogue equipment if you can.
You might find something like this interesting: http://www.cyberdata.net/products/voip/digitalanalog/intercomvideo/index.html
12  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: HD Homerun Help on: January 28, 2010, 04:41:36 am
wombiroller,

I'm in Aus & have a HDHomeRun.
I'm in a bit of a TV black spot & have found reception is significantly better with the HDHomeRun than any of the PCI or USB tuners I have used previously.

Josh

14  LinuxMCE / Feature requests & roadmap / Integrate Funambol with LMCE? on: December 30, 2009, 05:25:49 am
I noticed a few people have asked about a mail server in LMCE.
Would the Funambol project be useful as part of the solution? It looks like it could add some interesting features.
