I was always getting the above, since I replaced the libcommon.so file as directed in the JavaMo wiki, if I regen orbiter it says device #67 failed to start.  What is really strange is that i bought the d-link dbt-120 listed in the wiki and i get nothing, it doesn't even recognize it. ???

??? Having some trouble here, I bought a bluetooth adapter with the specs suggested in the wiki.  I plugged it in the usb and it goes into a constant installation loop. I went on to the pluto-admin site and made sure it was enabled as blue bluetooth adapter for every MD.  When i switch on any bluetooth phone phone (made visible), i continue to get the installation loop and it constantly finds the phone and asks me to use it, so when you go onto the admin site and there is long list of windows and symbian (javamo) orbiters.  If i try to pair it on the KDE desktop it goes into a constant loop, saying connectable then connect (phone model) and then back to connectable every 2 seconds.  I did get it to send a file to my phone via bluetooth obex push.  I thought maybe it was the bluetooth adapter. So I went out and bought the d-link dbt-120 list in wiki.  I didn't even recognize the device or install at all on either the desktop or in Bluez.  I've been trying to use the javamo which i have installed on my phone.  What is wrong and what can i do?? ??? I'm still using 7.10 by the way.

so hari, does this mean that my treo700wx is not compatible?  It does run windows mobile 5.1.195 updated.  It was discussed in the forums, some people said it just sent it to the WM5 device others installed the treo.cab?

hey guys i know this has been discussed before.  Please bear with me in bringing up this topic again but the only reason i bought this treo was because i read thread that stated that the the treo.cab was tested on the treo 700w.  I updated the phone to the latest firmware like it stated, but linuxmce fails to upload it to the phone.  Is the xscale orbiter the same as the treo.cab? if not where can i find the treo cab?  please guys, if you can help, please help me out. thanks :)

Guys, i searched the forum for answers, but I can't seem to find a concrete answer as to whether or not anyone knows of anyone getting the treo700w working with the WM5 orbiter.  I bought the treo, updated it to the latest firmware available, only to find that it is detected by my MD, I select WM5 etc etc, but ends up with a error message telling me that it failed and if i would like to try again. Nothing shows up on the phone.  I'm hoping that i have not wasted more money.  any help will be appreciated. thanks :(

I personally would stay away from Jetway boards.  Many people have said thier boards are cheap quality.  I didn't heed the warnings of others regarding Jetway boards, thinking that their nc62k would have been better, but I exchanged it for a new one after the first one was broken.  Then then returned the second one after two weeks because it burned out with fumes and smoke. Another guy on another blog had the same problem with this board. Had read several complaints about their boards, took a chance my self and will never buy another jetway board.  I stick to asus and msi now.

Hi everyone,

I'm having some issues with the web orbiter.  The orbiter is acting very erratic.  Very rarely it works well, other times it with freeze on a screen such as the floorplan etc.  Say i try to plane media, i have to click several times to select the MD or the home icon. If i get the media playing i will not be able to stop the media or even click home.  All it will do is refresh to the same page after every selection. The only thing i'm able to do it restart the core in order to use the web orbiter again, but it happens so frequently that it a frustrating battle.  Anybody know any solutions?

Hey tschak909, first, if nobody has said it yet thanks for taking the time to make those screencasts.  I was in the middle of replying with the post below, you beat me to the post button, anyway,...

Does anybody know if it would be possible to implement this in Linuxmce?  I would go deeper into the screencasts,  and work towards new UI's if I knew it was possible to mimick, use, or make UI's that aesthetically appealing in Linuxmce with HADesigner if that's the only program that can be used.

http://www.team-mediaportal.com/, not to say that Linuxmce as a home automation machine isn't great, because it is, but maybe we can grab some UI ideas from them or incorporate these UI's, so we can get linuxmce to look like this.  check it out.

Read 17 times, and 0 replies, Thanks guys. Is this the way the forum users for linuxmce treat possible users?  Just wanted some advice from those who would know, but not even a response. Thanks
