1  LinuxMCE / Users / cYTECH COMFORT ALARM on: November 19, 2012, 02:18:09 pm
hi,
i've just finished my house with EIB/KNX for and IŽm thinking of using LinuxMCE too. But I was thinking of using Cytech comfort for alarm system and also for some KNX operation (because I have only 1 BUS line and almost maximum of participants), i've been searching the forum but didn't find much info about usin comfort with LinuxMce.
So I ask? Can I use the comfort alarm operating some KNX needs and still use LinuxMCE?
Another Problem is my door bell? wiche equipment should I use in order to have video and audio wich I can integrate with LinuxMce?

thanks
Nelson
2  LinuxMCE / Users / Alarm How TO on: November 18, 2011, 04:41:01 pm
Hi People,

I've been trying to find out what are the supported alarm panels but couldnŽt find it. Could someone point me where to find it?

Another question is what should be the best configuration for the alarm attending to the wiring I have:
- KNX based wiring for lights, shutters, heating sensors, presence sensors;
- separate wiring system for alarm, though it can be integrated if I want because all wiring goes to same place in basement;
- for KNX integration IŽll be using IP gateway from BERKER

What I'd like to know this:
- the best way to integrate alarm with linuxmce
- if it is possible to use KNX sensors to complement the intrusion alarm, and heating scenarios,

thanks
nelson
