Users / Need help with Toshiba mce remote
« on: July 30, 2011, 10:48:19 pm »
I have bought a MCE remote.
I will post all knowledge of this device here and how far i have come.

I ask for help it getting this device working. and putting this information to the DCE databas and on the Wiki page.

Receiver information:
Interface: USB
Name: RF MCE Remote Control Receiver
Model: CM23E
Serial Number: 10B06
Additional information: Made by X10 in China

Remote Control information:
Name: RF MCE Remote Control
Model: OR22V
Additional information: Made by X10 in China

Now to the progress.
I have with help from TSCHAKeee via the irc channel added the Receiver to the DCE to auto initialize when plugged in.
This i have accomplished by adding a Device Template about the Device ad a Remote Receiver.

I don't know if it works properly, sense i cant get the remote control to respond. Lets assume it works for now

Any idea how get the remote control working so i can start fail search?

Kind Regards Exebat

« on: July 02, 2008, 09:41:58 am »
Hello Fellow LinnuxMCE users

I have seen on this forum that some have got this web orbiter working and i was on the wiki and looked at the how to about web orbiter..

But i dont have "Generaic Web Device"?  Is it something that i can manually install or is  something wrong with the installation.

Btw my system is installed from the dvd edition of linux mce version 7.10

Kind regards Exebat
