Hi

I´m playing without problems mkv videos including 1080p videos in some MD with a good video card (Nvidia 9 series or higher), but in some cases it is imposible to play more than 720 due hardware limitations. In resume if the video is 1080p and not supported by hardaware you get errors, but it doesn´t mean that you cannot play 720p videos in the same mkv container with the same hardaware.

Hi Totally,
Do you have some package for HVR-4000?

Dear all,

If you have installed the Kernel Above 2.28 the V4L driver should be included in your kernel in this case if it is 2.31 it is ok. Meaby you havent activate the drivers inside the Kernel you can compile the Kernel following this rules:

http://www.howtoforge.com/kernel_compilation_ubuntu

I compiled the Kernel 2.31 for versions 7.10 and 8.10 to run my HVR-4000 with the built in modules for V4L-DVB, you can find it inside the Kernel built configuration on:
Device drivers-->Multimedia-->NEW DVB (or somethig like that)
But, if fit the drivers active inside que configuration of the Kernel never try to install the V4L-DVB drivers manually again or you will get a Kernel Panic (I tryed it)
It is my experience.

Thnks a lot posde to guide me.

Really a read the post to translate the gui regarding update de SqlCVS, but i missed to do that (What can i do? jejeje). I take a note for the future.
I will wait until the integration of the new language will release update the sql and do another language more.

Regarding that:

2. There are some some Orbiter messages that i did´nt found to translate in the Text_LS table, in exemple:

Message "Powering Off" when you select power off mediadirector from submeno "Power", for me is unable to find and translate.
Main menu "Telecom" is also unable to translate, inside the submenu is translated perfectly, but in the main menu together with all rest of menus, still in english.

You or Somebody nows something anout that?
Sorry if i´m heavy it´s my only way to contribute. In the future i want to be more active for the family.

Dear All,

The open ticket is:
http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/ticket/331

Sorry for not told from the begining.

Also i want to ask somethings more:

1. I think i made a mistake using the language "Spanish" as a number 4 language, should be the 5 including the Italian as number 4, but when i started to do de translation the Italian language was not released and i used the 4 as a ID. Is easy to change the number 4 to 5 to all at same time or should be did by hand again?

3. I´m not a great coder, and i want to contribute to that great LinuxMCE Family, i can contribute regarding the languages, I can translate it to spanish, like is done at 99%, to Catalan and also finish the French translation for release 0810. What i want to ask? meaby somebody should assing the ID for the language and the people that wants to translate this release work directly with the reserved ID for that language upgrading like a main Text_LS stored in the SVN. It is junt an idea.

Dear Friends,

Yesterday i had finished the Gui translation to spanish for LinuxMCE.

I had openend a ticket in the SVN and had uploaded a Sql dump from the Language and Text_LS tables, for you can include it in the new release.

If you need more information just ask.

I tried it on my N78, and i get "Error de sistema" in spanish, System error in english.
I`m triying to rewrite it from source in Carbide, i`m looking from some headers.

Installation issues / HTC P3300
« on: June 15, 2008, 10:52:50 pm »
Hi guys i´m so new about that, but i had readed a lot of post about that but at the end my conclusion is that i cannot install an pluto orbiter in the HTC P3300 Windows Mobile 6.1 based or at least doesn´t run.
I had installed the package for this and run it, then do the conection from de DCERouter and generate all the images on the PDA, the core dectecs it like a #51 dispositive. For last step the core demand to quick reload, i did it and the when i start the orbiter in the PDA start to adquire data and lock de PDA, never works. Is the problem the version of Windows Mobile or not?

Then another thing is that i cannot do nothing via Web orbiter, i connect it and arrive to the UI, but i touch the buttons like media, or video or something like that y nothing happens, still the same windows every refresh. I need to say that another web orbiter in a windows XP laptop runnings ok, using also via wifi.

Some comments?

Thanks a lot guys
