1  LinuxMCE / Compatible Products & Services / Will a HIPER HMC-2K53A-A3 work with LinuxMCE? on: May 02, 2008, 01:23:27 am
On www.newegg.com, I found the  HIPER HMC-2K53A-A3 for $300.  I was interested in it because of its look, and the fact that it had all the media ports I need already built it.  I was wondering if the HDMI port is compatible with LinuxMCE.  If it isn't, is there someway to update a driver to make it compatible?

THANKS!!!

3  LinuxMCE / Users / REQUEST: UPDATED LIST OF COMPATIBLE TV TUNERS? on: April 29, 2008, 03:06:28 am
I have all of the other components picked out for my MCE, but I still need a tuner, and the manufacturers' websites never say anything about Linux drivers.

Can somebody please give me an updated list of compatible TV tuners?
Brands like Pinnacle/Hauppauge and other well known brands with good support would be best.

Thanks a lot!   Grin

I think a store is a wonderful idea!!!  Even an UPDATED list of compatible

I think a 'starter kit' is also a good idea, but I think that selling pre-made packages would not be a good idea.  I think letting people build the systems themselves would be more 'in the spirit' of Linux.....(that's the best way that I could put my idea in words).

And why not just put a link to the store on linuxmce.com?   Huh
