31  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: 8400gs resolution on: March 28, 2013, 02:23:58 pm
Not yet..
32  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: 8400gs resolution on: March 28, 2013, 06:26:57 am
Thats an affirmative to both. When I run the avwizard, the picture  doesn't fit to the screen.
33  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / 8400gs resolution on: March 27, 2013, 10:19:36 pm
I got myself a new projector -optoma hd300x- and hooked it up to my core via HDMI-cable. Right now my problem is, that I cannot get a higher resolution than 1024x768. Any higher than that and it will always revert.
So I was wondering, how I can get this to comply. Does anyone have an idea?

On a side note, I have a audigy 2 zs in my core too, which I have trouble with spdif coax sound. in alsamixer, i only see spdif optical and if I turn it off, I get sound on coax, but trying dts for example gives me nasty hissing sounds. I know l3mce said he is working on it ( god knows, he is working on a lot of stuff).
34  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Nas not being detected on: March 17, 2013, 10:16:40 am
That did it! dropped it from the database and now I can use it. Thanks, mate!
35  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Nas not being detected on: March 16, 2013, 08:34:22 pm
I restarted the core this morning to check if it would show up then...but no luck.
36  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / tagging episodes on: March 16, 2013, 08:33:46 pm
It seems the new autotagger 1.5 doesn't like my files anymore. Instead of tagging the files and putting covers it shows this:
Quote
Found Overriding Media Sub Type::0
***************No scanner for this file type, file complete*****************
**************************End File*****************************
Using the tvdb doesn't work either. I can select the show and season and get this:
Quote
Series ID::82459Duplicate entry '4684-0-0-0' for key 'PRIMARY'
After that in the whole season one episode gets tagged...interestingly enough, this one episode is also then recognised by the autotagger.

I did...set it to dhcp and it gets its ip from dcerouter
38  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Nas not being detected on: March 14, 2013, 07:08:53 pm
I got a Seagate Blackarmor 220 at home. I created a public share without the need for credentials. I thought LMCE would detect it and ask me to use it, but so far nothing. I even unlocked all unknown devices again- they got detected one by one- but the nas never showed up. I can access it via ip, my windows8 box sees it too.
39  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Phones do not register anymore on: February 28, 2013, 06:20:07 pm
hmm... this morning I did another core reload with asterisk and this time it seems to stay alive. However I still have only outgoing calls and no incoming.
I have my asterisk registered as a line with my fritzbox. In the log of said fritzbox I find the incoming call being declined. I have another phone running parallel to asterisk and that is working.
40  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Phones do not register anymore on: February 27, 2013, 10:14:31 pm
Okay, that didn't stick...registration is gone again. Btw...intercom is also not working.
So does anyone else see this, or am I the only lucky one?
41  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Phones do not register anymore on: February 27, 2013, 09:52:02 pm
okay....I get one step further...it seems after connecting to asterisk ( after having the server rebooted) and doing a "core reload now", the phones finally registered. I can place outgoing calls, but for incoming I get only a busy signal so far.
42  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Phones do not register anymore on: February 27, 2013, 08:43:36 pm
I just encountered a problem with my Gigaset 610ip. I have two handsets of this model and none of them is currently registering. I even went to delete them from the webadmin, reload router, re-add them ( as generec sip-phone, as I have always done before), but for the live of me, they won't register. The webadmin of the gigaset always shows the status of those phones as "registration failed".
43  LinuxMCE / Users / New Asterisk feature or is it my Gigaset? on: February 06, 2013, 09:16:11 pm
Okay, this sounds probably stupid on my part, but you're used to that from me, I suppose.
I'm using a Gigaset 610 IP together with LMCE and thats all working nicely so far. Today, when I came home I noticed a missed phonecall. Upon checking it on my Gigaset, I was astounded to see the full name of the caller in the display. It was somebody I knew, but didn't have the number for, so clearly this info came from somwhere else.
Right now I'm a bit confused, where this nice feature comes from...is Asterisk now automatically doing a reverselookup or is this something my Gigaset does on its own?
I'd appreciate your input.
44  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: install experience on RC1 on: January 19, 2013, 05:42:12 pm
It seems its not only IMDB, which is not working...thetvdb.com is also having trouble. If I want to tag TV-Shows with it, it finally give this :
Quote
Duplicate entry '3967-0-0-0' for key 'PRIMARY'

Trying the autotag feature, which right now has a success-rate of about 90% on my movies, it will start downloading and then gets stuck forever at "expanding" ...no progess whatsoever. It goes as far that the webadmin is not reacting anymore...and the tv starts losing its sound...it gets tinny, until it fades away. Only reload router will alleviate that.

Thanks again for your help. The nvidia-driver issue seems finished so far. I take it the new script will not be killed by the next update?
If you need any info or testing done with the audigy2, I'm at your disposal.
