I hate to say it, but it appears to affect all the shows I have...American Gothic, Coupling, Elementary..you name it.

I think thats fixed now :-) There is however some graphical garbage appearing that makes some of the buttons increasingly unreadable. I suppose that is a driver issue with my cellphone -htc evo3d.

LinuxMCE / Users / autotag seems hanging

I'm having a bit of an issue with autotagging. I will start it in a directory with some tv-shows in it. The script will start and shows the log. There it will download a zip-file and start expanding it...and thats the point where its hanging...for hours, even days. The webadmin will not respond anymore and the whole system slows down to a crawl. I don't really have an idea how to solve this issue.

depends on which problem you are referring to... if you are referring to the hdmi-sound, then that problem was fixed by a kernel upgrade. The other problem I had was with upgrading the kernel on the md. So far there is a wiki page which detailed the procedure, but I think that most of those steps aren't actually needed anymore. I will have to verify that and then change the wiki accordingly, I guess. The only things I needed to do was apt-get install for the the kernel and then only set proper permissions. The links were all correct...at least that was my observation.

LinuxMCE / Users / qoribter reconnects to old device

I recently did a reinstall of lmce. After I was done I wanted to get qorbiter running again. So far so good, but it always wants to connect to the device from the old install. When the startup-screen shows, I tried many times to change the entry for the orbiter-number, but it doesn't work. I uninstalled qorbiter, deleted the appdata..but somehow it always comes back.

I will just try again...rebuilding the image now. The other thing I just checked again, AVWizard gave me sound on hdmi...but so far nothing else...so I will take the soundblaster card out now and try again. I think that should do it. The only thing is the kernelupgrade takes like forever on an atom...better it was an ariel atom instead ;-D

it seems that I missed something along the lines by uprading the kernel on my md...right now it says "could not find kernel image: 39vmlinuz"

So far doing the core- thats where the geforce card is being used- worked okay. I got hdmi sound now. On the other hand...do I need to do the same procedure on the md, or do I just need to fix the links? I though just running Diskless_CreateTBZ.sh and create a new MD might do, but it seems that it is still creating an image for 2.6.32-46

okay...I did a dist-upgrade after installing the dcerouter...I'm not quite sure what kernel is installed there now, but I can check when I come home. The other thing is, if I still need the kernel-upgrade...how exactly do I fix the permissions and links?

I'm afraid not..I only got upgrades via apt-get...so I'm afraid my expertise and my confidence currently don't reach that far. I went to the irc last night and hope that l3mce can shed some light on the situation.

Thanks for the tips. I did as you suggested and went even a little further. I also found a later bios for my mainboard and thought that would help. Unfortunately it did not...the first bios I got was labeled beta...and screwed up the filesystem, so I did a fresh install...but no change...if I take out both the tv-card and the soundcard and run the AVWizard, then I get no soundcard at all..selection is empty. So all in all..no dice. Right now I am using the coax out to my soundsystem to have any sound at all, but I would prefer the sound coming via hdmi from the tv. If you have any more ideas, I would really appreciate them.
