This is a plug and play device, once the core has a connection to the internet, working fine, some missed configurations for the buttons.

OK this site has been shut down even after lmce members offering to bring it back up and this topic has not been replied to in over 120 days, I never used the site www.localeconcept.com  and I was always wondered what it hosted, as so many  topics and links are linked back to this site,

So I took a look at trying to buy the domain and guess what Bid for localeconcept.com.

Thom, I will offer my services to host this site, if you’re interested pm me and I will give you ftp access to upload the content of   your site, but I will require you to  update  your name servers on your account to the below, this way you will still own the domain, I'm just doing the hosting bit.

ns5.dnsireland.com
ns6.dnsireland.com
ns7.dnsireland.ie

I’m currently using LMCE and love the software and work you guys do.  So for all your hard work I will offer the hosting of this site for as long as I can .

Kind Regards
Govo

PS know any were i can get a copy of HA designer ..search the internet with no look of finding it

Thanks for your reply,  virtual boxes becomes unstable when running more than 3 virtual systems, I really don't like MS either but hyper -v can run 7 virtual systems at once each with 4 GB ram applied  to them,I have a Prolaint DL385 G2 fully loaded and  I trying to save POWER cost by running my virtual systems and shutting down several of my machines i have  ruining, combing them into one, but I  can't do this if i can't run mce on this vs . so my aim is to see if its possible.

but again thanks for reply.

Hi
I'm trying to use a logitech usb music anywhere on one of my MD's, but the lmce keeps defaulting to the internal sound card, I can choose it from the av & audio wizard, but llinux keeps activating  the default sound card,

Is there any way I can force this to use the USB?

Kind regards

Thanks for the  feedback,  according to the hardware listed on linuxmce wiki page my card is  compatible

It is recommended to use one from a NVIDIA GeForce 6200 to a GeForce 8500

Can you advise  what graphics card to get?

kind regards

Thank for the feedback,

I really don't have money to to buy a new card, so I will make do with  what I have,  I never had any issues with the hardware on previous  releases. so it must be something simple that's going wrong, as it works well with a standard monitor and on previous releases  of linuxmce the same TV was used under the same settings.

 ::) ?

Thanks for the reply,

video card is Nvidia Geforce 6800 and the TV is samsung, nver had problems with 7.10 or 8.10,  hook up through an  VGA to DVI adapter to the VGA port in TV, doesn't matter what display size I use in the AV wizard, I still have to load into the KDE desktop to reset the display.

 any ideas ?

Hi Folks

I have  a small problem, I have hook up my core to my 50'' tv and the screen is off from the right & bottom side of the screen by about 20'' each side,  the on screen orbiter is set at 800x600  and the md settings are the same, every time I boot up,  the screen is of set and I have to load the KDE desktop and adjust the display resolution by 800x600 and re-active the obiter (see small video http://youtu.be/VsVSoXmXoRk) the video will help me explain better, any idea's what  could be wrong ?

kind regards
Govo
