Have not tried that plugin.
I guess that plugin is shipped with ubuntu as standard. It might work. If not, you have to compile your own version of it.
Download the source and build it as you do with other vdr plugins.

I have tried to compile it before, but it was very slow when switching channels then. I have used that plugin when i made my own tv-htpc (debian) whit own compiled vdr +plugins and it worked perfect. I really need that plugin for subtitles here in Finland (europe!).

It's a VDR update for 0710 to get VDR to clients. Is it the hack or can I have different channels on MD's ?

Thnx for this info. I have just bought a TT1500. I have tried a lot to get it working. I first thing it was some IRQ stuff, but not.
But after this i have it all working (it was some other problems to, but it was my fault)! Dual tuner whit vdr for multiple recordings/watching.

It was nice reading this posts.
When you release the VDR updates, can you also release ttxtsubs-plugin for VDR? Many channels (nordic) need this to show there subtitles. It need to have VDR patched as well to work...

Why not make a Poll and see witch user use/wants/prefere what configuration?

I have 2 networks now, but wanted 1. I think many users have a router/firewall in there house allready that handle Internet/DHCP.
To change DHCP server to the LMCE in not a problem.
But a easy configuration for one network card would be great in LMCE, so the DHCP sets Router/Firewall as gateway.

Why not in Pluto webadmin under network:
- Networkcards (set ip numbers etc.)
- Firewall/NAT (on/off, rules)
- DHCP
- DNS

I have problem whit subtitles and orginal DVD too (lmce 0710).
I can choose in the movie menu, but no subtitles is displayed. I have tried different languages (for subtitles, I want swedish), searched this forum but no success.

Will it be fixed soon?

Sounds good. But is there any way to change key if I want, or is all keys hardcoded?

I answer my own question: It's hardcoded in src/Orbiter/Linux/HID*.cpp/h (only gyro keys!)

I have downloaded vdr source + plugin and added patches +compile. It compile fine, but dose not work in lmce.

Any one know?
Like Red, Green, Yellow, Blue buttons on the remote. How to get them working in VDR?
