I rebooted, 9 hours ago.  still no sensor.  I checked the sensor was connected properly earlier using the maxim graphing tool.

It would be nice to get that one to work but I have struggled.  Probably get some of that back if you throw it on Ebay

I think there may be a problem with the DS9490R with LMCE.  Take a look at:

http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php/topic,11328.150.html

page 11 you will see I had the same issue with the DS9490R which I then replaced with the http://www.ibuttonlink.com/linkusb.aspx

Not sure it is working, right now I dont have a temp sensor plugged in.  I took my test one to work to graph how cold it is in my office - LOL

I don't think there is any difference between how it will run on and Intel or AMD processor.  I have an AMD core and a Media Director that is Intel Atom and both run fine.  There is a device template for CM11 and CM15 but I am not sure about CM19.  I would plug it in and see what happens.  The CM15 is plug and play.  There is more hardware support in 10.04 and L3MCE has done a load of work getting video and sound to work well, you will also find the install process much cleaner than in 0810.

First rule of LMCE is be patient

Second rule is read and search about your hardware. For instance check out the wiki page on CM11a for info on your X10 controller (my cm15 works great)

I would also say you will have a much easier time installing 10.04 via DVD than any thing else and there has been huge advances in video chipset recognition. I suggest you install that and then let us know what issues you have and we can help

Read all of this before doing any of it

1.  Log into the IRC channel #linuxmce-devel
2. Go to http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi and create a new ticket use information similar to http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/ticket/1662, (ignore the change history for now)
3.  In webadmin goto --> Advanced --> sqlCVS and click 'update' - select everything and run or submit (whatever)
4.  once the update is complete, run 'Diff' from the same menu - this will show you differences to sqlCVS - these make up your template.
5.  in the description box at the bottom write a description "Device Template for Sharp XXXXX" and include the Ticket number.  check all the items that are to do with your template and submit
6.  in the IRC chanel you will see the batch codes appear that are associated with your submission, copy them and add them to your ticket.
7.  Ask in the IRC if there is anyone available to approve your submission.  if there isnt - keep asking until you find someone.

I dont have a static IP address from my ISP and mine works?  you may just want to power cycle everything core, modem, etc and see if this rights itself
