1  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: [Solved] No image with D-Link DCS-7110 IP camera on 1004 on: March 29, 2013, 08:25:48 am
Yes, pan & zoom and else are not yet implemented.
It is my first DT and have put the minimum required for making snapshots.
I'll try to add them this weekend.

Greetings

I sent the missing parameters in case they can be added to the previous DT.

If not, tell me what I can do to.

Well, something is wrong.

I have no more the same device template number I create and I've lost some camera parameters.

Can you tell me how to remove a wrong device template ? (I have 2405 and 2253 for the same camera)

If necessary I will re create a new device template for the D-Link DSC-7110.
Mac range was create but I not select it for the check-in (mistake).

Well, I have just done a anonymous check in for this DT.

Hoping to have it done properly ....;-)

Hi Posde,

As I mentioned earlier, my sURL worked with zoneminder, and I did not think to look in the zm wiki.

It's a pity that this information is not in the documentation of the D-Link camera, I have saved time and you will not bother with that. ;-)

Thank's a lot for your search, now I can snap picture !

Greetings,

Philippe

Humm..

It does not seem possible to obtain true jpeg. I can get H264, MPEG-4 and JPEG (but it's MJPEG) images.

It only remains for me to hope that one day this template accept MJPEG. ;-)

Thank you for your response.

I forgot to mention that I had previously configured the camera with the "Generic IP Camera" template and then with motion.
But no picture and the same "Camera screenshot not available" with the lmce-admin security view camera :-(.

My configuration seems correct and if i use the sUrl "http://192.168.80.132:80/video3.mjpg" with a web browser I have my image.

Nobody can help me ?

Philippe

I don't find why I have no image with a D-Link DCS-7110 IP camera on Linuxmce 1004.

The camera work perfectly with Zoneminder.

I have create a new template based on Sambuca Advanced_IP_Camera device template.
But no success.
When I start manually this device it give me this logfile:

Code:

linuxmce@dcerouter:~$ sudo /usr/pluto/bin/Advanced_IP_Camera -d 166
[sudo] password for linuxmce:
Advanced_IP_Camera, v.2.0.0.45.12121426939

Hi Phenigma,

Even if it is not yet automatic, it works and simplifies configuration !!

Squeezeslave work again and I suggest, L3mce, to test it because it is a nice solution to have synchronized audio in rooms. ;-)

Thank's again for your reactivity and help.

Maybe it is because I have no media director on the Core and so have not setup video and audio ?

12  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: New audio scheme, and upgrades (Updated) on: February 13, 2013, 09:20:14 am
Hi

I have add the Multichannel sound card #2241 on the Core but have a "No sound cards found" in the device data parameters.

My asound.conf is the ITS audio profile that LMCE give me (same as yesterday) and my /etc/pluto/alsa/vitual_cards.conf is empty.

Do I miss something ?

13  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: New audio scheme, and upgrades (Updated) on: February 12, 2013, 09:27:14 pm
Hi Phenigma,

Great !

14  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: New audio scheme, and upgrades (Updated) on: February 12, 2013, 09:14:46 am
I have paste my old config (first pastebin) into /etc/pluto/alsa/virtual_cards.conf, and let the LMCE ITS audio profile.
It is a progress but the -o parameter (audio device) is always missing and if I reboot the core, I retrive a empty virtual_cards.conf :-(.

I know about Dianemo Device Template #1994 and have use it before.
But it is actually missing on linuxmce 10.04 so I have to manually recreate the virtual cards.

Thank's for your help.

The asound.conf that worked before the new audio sheme:

http://pastebin.com/v1NAqujj

For information I have 2 sound cards and only use the M Audio for squeezeslave on the core.
I don't have a media director on the core.

The new asound.conf after the new audio sheme.
