Installation issues / Re: Help to resolve my Zwave network problem
« on: November 17, 2011, 07:44:39 pm »
Hari it is ok !

Examining different controllers manual, I perceived that the exclusion of a device also realized a reset of the same device.
So I realized the exclusion with my 200ZW_EU_W Tricklestar on all my devices and then re-include them again.
And it works now !!

Greetings,
Philippe

yes I saw it but it was not very clear in their explanation.
Could be interpreted that there is a sequence described in this manual but it is not (except with a controller of the brand).

Thank you for your looking.

Hello Hari,

Despite my research, I do not know how to reset my homepro zdp230 and zrp230 devices.
Do you by chance know how to do this ?

Installation issues / Help to resolve my Zwave network problem
« on: November 11, 2011, 10:40:06 am »
Hello all,

I do not know what to do.
No way to set my Zwave network anymore (on 1004).
It only give the possibility to include 1 node and no more.
I have reset the Seluxit viaSENS Homecontroller, the Tricklestar 200ZW_EU_W controleur, etc..
I can include the Tricklestar and 1 peripheral (HomePro ZRP230) but not the others:
4 x Merten Blind control (580699) + Radio shutter push-button (504519)
2 x HomePro ZRP230 (plug-in appliance)
2 x HomePro ZDP230 (plug-in lamp module)

I've try it on a 810 final (on virtualbox) with the same peripherals but no more result (and it worked fine before my new install).

Can anyone give me a solution ?
Is there a problem with zwave on 810 final and 1004 ?

I've try to use a 300ZW-EU-W (instead the Seluxit) but it is no more recognized.

Thank's for your help.

Installation issues / My upgrade from my old 810 alpha (+ update) to 10.04
« on: November 05, 2011, 12:57:16 pm »
It's been a while since I wanted to take the plunge and I did the last weekend.
I reinstall my system alpha 810 + upgrade to a 1004.
First impression ... the installation script runs without apparent problem.
As against the following configuration asked me a few problems:
- The detection of a nova-t 500 card seems to close all the time and if you answer yes to the detection, the system declares two new tuners each time. Not understanding what was happening, I ended up with at least 5 cards each with 2 tuners!
- The Zwave seems not to work properly. I preferred reinstall everything after a reset of the existing network but I am now blocked to include new devices. I only managed to add one (ZRP230) on my SELUXIS ZW-USB-SERIAL controller + TrickleStar 200ZW-EU.
No way to add more (ZRP230, ZDP230, etc. ???).
Is it related to the 1004?
- Asterisk seemed to work but since the update last Tuesday I can no longer register with my SIP provider.
In addition it seems that the config of a Cisco 7970 phone is not perfect because mine keeps his old number (204) while the new Asterisk installation starts with the numbers 1, 2, 3, etc ...
Cisco can not register with asterisk.

Here is an initial inventory for my case.
I continue to look for what I could do to get it working normally, but for now I stuck ...

Oh yes ... can we ensure not having to reload the router 4-5 times in a row when we change something?
I wonder if here too there is not a malfunction.

Anyway thank you for your work.
There is really changes!

And do not pay too much attention to my English, I use Google;-)

Greetings,

Philippe

Hi Philippe,

I'm not convinced we are experiencing the same problem if one of your phones works; my orbiters' softphones don't even register. Which VOIP provider are you using out of interest, and what method did you use to register your line?

Try adding the phone manually in web admin (as a generic SIP phone) and putting the information generated by LMCE into the Gigaset admin page (thanks to maverick0815 for this tip).

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi Purps,

It is exactly what I do.
I manually add a generic SIP phone and put the informtion generated into the Gigaset.
I've change the password for testing but same result.

It was a different setup for the cisco 7970 (I used the wiki page for it).

For my VOIP provider I use the sipgate.co.uk and modify the information to register on my french SIP provider (free.fr).
Registration is ok.

I've have registered my siemens gigaset on a second ip connexion directly to my SIP provider without problem.
It is really the asterisk registration for the siemens that does not work correctly (it worked before the lastest big lmce .deb update on a previous install)

Users / Re: GC100 + input sensors
« on: May 04, 2011, 05:31:35 pm »
I reconfigured once again the GC-100 as Zaerc indicated and now it works.
Modifying the LogLevels line in the /etc/pluto.conf configuration file helped me greatly.
Thank you for your answers.

Hello,

I bought a GC100 to replace a old deffective doorbell and use LinuxMCE (810) to this end.
Despite instructions find here, it does not work at this time.
The Device and childs are created automatically and I have change the sensor 1 as "sensor with auto-notify".
The test I made don't give me a tripped sensor in the log (87_LauchGC100.sh.log).

Any help would be appreciated

Thank's

Users / Door bell question
« on: April 17, 2011, 05:11:19 pm »
Hello,

Is it possible to use such a Duwi duw-064435 as a door bell?

The idea is that when activated, it send a signal to the MDs and to the nearby camera to take a picture?
If this is not possible is there another way (and material) to do the same things ?

Greetings,
Philippe

No success after your suggestion Tim.
I have set a empty password for root on the MD mysql and when I run the dpkg-reconfigure --force mythtv-database:

Code: [Select]
root@moon130:~# dpkg-reconfigure --force mythtv-database
Failed to execute SQL: GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON mythconverg.* TO mythtv@localhost IDENTIFIED BY '3zRkyO86'\nAccess denied for user 'root'@'192.168.80.4' to database 'mythconverg' at -e line 8, <> line 1.

I've not this error when I updated the Core, only the MDs.

I will try to rebuild the MD image and see what's append....

Thank's all of you for your suggestions !
