Users / Dianemo S and Internet Radio
« on: September 04, 2013, 05:41:11 pm »
Hi,

In Dianemo 12.04 I try to get internet radio working on squeezeslaves with virtual sound cards and a real squeezebox. In LMS, the players are available and ready to control, including favourits.

I followed the WIKI with installation instructions, but touching the button 'Internet Radio' on an orbiter results in an error message 'Datagrid:InternetRadio_7 Type:105 is invalid'.

Any help is much appreciated.

Kind regards
Heinz

Installation issues / Dianemo and ASUS EB1501 power control
« on: June 17, 2013, 03:49:10 pm »
Hi Andrew,

Last weekend I installed two different ASUS eee box EB1501(U/P) as MM. However,  the power on/off commands aren't working neither from an orbiter nor from the admin-page. Other MM (Acer Revo, Shuttle XS35) are controllable this ways.

Do you have same issues recently from other installations.

Thanks!

Heinz

Hi,

I'm running 810 and try to manage the Shuttle XS35GT as MD which is a very nice Nvidia ION based fanless barebone. After following the wiki http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/ShuttleX50V2  for unrecognized NIC, it is working fine with the exception of Audio/DVD under LinuxMCE and in KDE.
It is curious to me (a linux newbie) that I 'm able to watch MythTV with sound (Myth frontend setup as Alsa:plughw 1,7) but not under LinuxMCE. I've tried several configurations of Sound cards and Audio settings under LMCE setup whithout success. So it seems to me that MythTV is bypassing or not using the LMCE configuration files in terms of sound.

XS35GT comes with:
Integrated Audio
IDT92HD81 Audio Codec with Azalia support
Two analog audio connectors (3.5mm):
1) Line out (head phone)
2) microphone input
Digital Audio via HDMI port

were i'm using HDMI with Denon AVR-2307.

Any suggestion is much appreciated.

Heinz
