Yes , But the problem is that the range of those things is very short you have to stick it to the device's reciver and that way you can control only one device.

Ok great to know I'm not the only one with this issue.
Just an update:

I connect an external emitter on it (those little bugs) and it sends the codes without a problem only throw the external one.
I even used my camcorder to see if it sends something on the front led  but nothing only the visible red flashes.

i didn't test it yet on a AMD64 but I'll keep the post

Sorry if this question sounds fool, but I have a similar problem, I'm a complete newbe on LMCE

did you try the test code when you set up the Template for the divice? it worked there?
in my case I cant send anything from the internal emitters of the usb-uirt and I also have the 7.10 b4 i386

I'll try the AMD64 today and post the results.

Patrick

Yes it does, I tested with a win application and it learn any codes from my remotes and then transmit them without an external emitter.
I think the problem could be in some settigs lost some where.
the application if you want to try it is lrnhelper.exe.
I can't attached it here but you can google lrnhelper.exe and shure you'll find it. If not let me know and I send you the link of where I downloaded

Almost same problem here I had it learned the codes for my device but the internal emitter appears not to send anything. If i plug an external emitter it works
Any suggestions?
52  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: .div not playing on xine on: March 12, 2008, 06:26:26 am
OK an update
this symptom seems to disappear when I manually touch the xine.config file the one that is located on /ect/pluto
I set up audio.speaker_arrangement:Pass Through  to audio.speaker_arrangement:Stereo 2.0 even if i have the TosLink cable connected

at least I can play every media file even mythtv without doing changes on the admin

If some one have any clue on how to set up AC3 or DTS in a way taht I could have 5.1 sound,  I'll appreciate it.

I just try it, and it is the same Problem
54  LinuxMCE / Users / .div not playing on xine on: March 11, 2008, 09:04:00 pm
When i try to play a div file it give me an error message(on the top left side) that say "Audio output is busy or not available".
all other types of media are playing fine mp3, ogg, mpeg videos.
I try diferent things like changing audio AC3 pass-through on the admin or doing some changes on the xine.conf file but the results are always the same every media type plays fine exept .div

I search every where for this error and found nothing.
My configuration is:

-LMCE 7.10 B3 (installed from DVD)
-Sound Card ICE1724 SPDIF optical Connection to amp

Any clues on how to start troubleshooting this?

Note: The first time I install LMCE in the AV wizard I could not pass the DTS test so I rebooted selected analog and then change the settings on Admin site to SPDIF TosLink
My settings now are Standard sound card - Manual Settings - AC3 pass-through

Thank you.

55  LinuxMCE / Users / Where can I find my aoudio files?? on: February 28, 2008, 03:47:00 am
I finish the installation every thing seams to be working OK.
I have all my music files on a external HD. After I plug it in and finishing the configuration no audio files appears on media -> Audio or media -> Video
How can I make the files in the external HDD appear on Media?
