...well is there a solution to setup a route that says "if you want to go to a hulu-address (ip-range), use the vpn gateway (if not available, set up a vpn line), otherwise use the default gateway."
Is this a problem? Any of you already set up something like this?

Hey Mandingo, i just did the shell stuff with my DVB-C Card, which is a KNC One btw. KNC ONE: pat@dcerouter:~$ sudo lspci -vn 01:05.0 0480: 1131:7146 (rev 01) Subsystem: 1894:0022 Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 16 Memory at f9fffc00 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512] Kernel driver in use: budget_av Kernel modules: budget-av
pat@dcerouter:~$ sudo v4l2-ctl -n Failed to open /dev/video0: No such file or directory It looks the pretty same, except "Memory at f9fffc00 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512]" which does differ from Vikings post (viking: Memory at febff800 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512]) , on page 3 ) I still have big issues with stupid me, MythTV, DVB-C via unity-media cable... grrr. @ Mandingo: did you create a template for the KNC one, as i could not find anything in your wiki page? Hoping for help... ;O) Pat

LinuxMCE / Users / 8.10 Beta Black Screen on MD Video Playback
|
on: January 06, 2010, 02:57:03 pm

Hi @ all! I just figured out to install my Zotac Ion 330 MD @ 1080p@60Hz. The Screensaver is running fine, as i still need to figure out if i can run the MD with or without alpha blending ;O) BUT... as i started to play any video like HD Stuff, DVD Iso or plain avi files, i just can hear the sound ...and see a black screen, no more. Does anyone have a slight idea what could resolve that?
Thanks for your help..
Pat

well i cannot explain the 9, but i guess 011 is the US Prefix for International codes. So i assume that the 9 is supposed to be some kind of dial-through-code. BUT... i have no clou where the digits come from... Good Luck! ;O)

Mandigo,
ok... in the MythTV Setup i saw sth. with LMCE Default... but i didn't know what to do with it ;O) So i need to take a look at that as well. But first, i need to fix my MythTV-cannot-scan-DVBC-with-UNityMedia-as-theprovider issue ;O(

Mandigo,
sorry that i have to admit.... but you just rock! ;O)
As soon as i plugged in my cinerygy USB stick the Systems pops up and asks me what to do. BUT... the systems offers two choices to install, but tells me "sorry, cannot find any provider for your country. You need to run MythTV Setup" (sth. like that).

I just want to throw in, that by converting the DVD to avi, you win space and will most of the time loose the "DVD-Experience" with specials, extras menues etc. which is supported by LMCE. I would love to see some more support for Matroska files in the future, as these support all that stuff. But for now LMCE does only support menues, multi-language etc via DVD. Correct me, when i'm wrong. I'm planning a bigger NAS just to hold my DVD-ISO... and i have to make sure, that my girlfriend wont kill me, when i tell her she needs to run 3 computers (nas, core, MD) just to watch a simple DVD ;O)
