Don't forget about n64, I got 4 gigs of n64 games that I need a good reason to use. Also support for the ps3 sixaxis and xbox 360 wireless controllers that some ubuntu users are alreAdy using for their emulators. But none the less great job tschak909!

There's a open source sdk  available from cydia, it's called big boss's toolchain I believe. But that'd let u develop in Linux. Then just host the app in cydia, then we won't have to deal with apple at all for approveal. I would lovee to see an orbitor app for the iPhone. Most poeple that use lmce that have an iPhone probably already have jailbroken iPhones anyways.

I don't think it will work while Lmce is running, LMce is somewhat a server and I doubt it'll let u run the remote server at the same time.

Users / configuring Logitech Mediaboard Pro keyboard (Bluetooth ps3)
« on: February 24, 2009, 03:17:05 am »
I tried following the ubuntu "how to" in the following hyperlink, a couple users have gotten this keyboard to work successfully in kubuntu.

http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-setup-bluetooth-keyboard-and-mouse-in-ubuntu.html

When i scan for bluetooth devices while LMCE is running in the terminal, it doesn't find anything.

Am I on the right track, or is there a better way to get this device to work. I searched this forum and found that a couple of users were already using bluetooth keyboards.

I hate to admit it but it looks kinda cool.

It would be cool to have a more interact touch interface like this one in LMCE.

Installation issues / Re: Tuner not detected - kernel upgrade?

I have had the same problem, I also got

find:  /lib/firmware/2.6.26.5: No such file or directory

Mine boots and I see the kubuntu splash screen and does the beeps then nothing.

ALso when choosing the modules at the part where it ask for your core family. I have a AMD 64bit quad core, but I am running mce 32 bit so i don t know if i should pick the I38 option or AMD 64.

I know, I installed kubuntu 0710 then rc2 on top of that. I read that others had better luck with my motherboard by updating the kernel also.

Install via CDs
Kubuntu 32bit
Mce rc2 32 bit

Plugged Ethernet cable into extra nic card. Internet seems to stop working after mce is installed. Did all the apt-get commands before the mce install. During the mce install i choose to install as dhcp setup.

After installtion and reboot screen goes black, I hit ctl alt f2 then logged in. Attempted to kernel to 2.6.28. Get near the end of the update guide and the command about copying to the boot folder says it can t find the 2.6.28 firmware.

Then updated the driver to nvidia 177.82, reboot. Plugged in hdmi and av wizard shows up. It crashes halfway thruogh so had to restart. No boot image shows up so I ran the avwizard from command, get through it sucessfully then screen goes back to command prompt. Hit ctr alt f7 and 8 and 9 and just a black screen.

Sorry Marper i think you misunderstool my problem, I am stuck at installing Kubuntu, the cd setup doesn t have to the drivers to find my harddrive and ethernet adapter

Hey Caravaggio,

I think i just let my patience get the best of me and i didnt waitout the blank screen on the 7.10 kubuntu 64bit cd setup. I got the 64bit setup cd running which is used to install kubuntu. I started the wizard and when i get to choose which harddrive to install on, neither of my drives are there. Did you run into this problem? and if so how did you install kubuntu from there. Also it doesnt detect my nvideo ethernet adapter like yours, but i have a second pci one installed which does.

I booted from cd to install 7.10 kubuntu and went through the wizard to find harddisks and nothing shows up. I have 2 250 gig drives one running vista eternity, but none of them show during the wizard. Any ideas anyone?

Naw, I couldn't install 0710 because many problems, However i did sucessfully get 0810 alpha 1 installed but deleted after realizing how many gliches it had. I did DL the App and it looks like it would work, it just asks for a server ip address and a port. or the option to connect to a RemotePad Server
