Anyone purchase a Fiire system and have them code for a device?  If so how did it work out?  What did they add for you?
On another note, does anyone have a FiireEngine running 710?  I know the 1" and 2.2" stations are having a problem running it but I'm guessing the set-top box is fine, again anyone running it?  Any problems?

Thanks

Looking to build a high end system, it will have a dedicated core and several Media Directors.

If you had to build your dream core what would you put in it.  (motherboard, cpu, memory, NICs, HDs, case, etc)
Anyone have a working Media Director supporting Blue-Ray?  If so what's it made of.

I will be using a DT368 and DT366 as my main Orbiters.  But would like to get at least one FiireChief

What do people think of the Fiire equipment? I'm waiting until at least they release their FiireStationHD to see what's in it. (hopefully in the next couple weeks)  Native support for 0710 is important to me so this might negate their stations.

Some background - I'm a computer engineer
my house is new with a central wiring room upstairs
my lights are already Insteon
my alarm is a HAI - anyone besides pluto have this working?
my house has whole house audio from a Russound CAM6.6 system - again anyone have this working in LMCE
I have two squeeze boxes - love them to feed the Russound as I do now

Thanks to all that reply,

Thanks for the info..
strange they advertise Gb NICs but only include one..
They must be ready to ship a new custom image based on 710 given Jeff talked about HD playback for their new machine.

Just looks more and more like Fiire gear is best for those that only want a turn key solution.  Wish they would just switch to the standard build with the addition of the custom video driver.

Jeff/Fiire,

First you guys are doing an exceptional job helping LMCE push into future

As someone that's going to buy and/or build in the next couple of weeks I'll attempt to get some answers here.

I hate to hijack this thread to Fiire but here goes some questions.

Does the Engine contain two gigabit NICs?  Your message and others make me think not but the site says yes.
Do you have a date for the HD Station?  How about a waiting list?
Seams people are having problems running 710bx on the  Fiire hardware, have you guys address this?
Will your stations support self built engines/cores?  What I mean is will you release the drivers and or code for Fiire station support?

Hopefully you will continue to read and contribute to this forum.

Thanks,
Guisep
