17  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: FusionHDTV7 Dual Express as an Analog Tunner on: July 12, 2010, 11:52:26 pm
Hmmmm

I have that card set to HD by default but i guess i could put in a prompt as to ask the user what default signal being used if they want NTSC or ATSC but keep in mind even though its a dual tuner there is only 1 cable coming into the card so both tuners will be DVB or ANALOG not one of each....

Im currently adding new device data to better handle some cards so i guess ill tack this on my list.

Thank you for pointing that out  Grin

Thanks

19  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: MythTV fails from lmce (but works from kubuntu) on MD on: July 07, 2010, 09:42:04 pm
you guys make this way harder than it needs to be

if your core upgraded fine

wouldnt it make sense just to copy the preferences file from the core to the md and then update and dist-upgrade

this will get you myth .23

Thanks

The current build of myth .23 doesnt have DVB-S/S2 support built in,

I am still looking for people to test a current build that will be released into the wild once i get alittle more feed back on it

Hit me up in the irc and i will give you the newer version with the S2 support for testing

Thanks

27  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-CI PCI DVB-S card doesn't work with the latest v4l2-modules on: June 20, 2010, 04:20:45 pm
The problem is you have the wrong drivers install  Tongue

remove the v4l2-modules and install v4l2-ngene-modules

currently the version of myth that i have out now doesnt have good DVBS/S-2 support.

im looking for a few people with S/S-2 cards to test some new drivers, i will be releasing with an update to myth
hit me up in irc and lets test some stuff

Thanks

29  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: Using a WD TV Live HD Media Player as a Media Director on: June 11, 2010, 08:30:59 am
Any batch renamer could rename the ext in seconds and updating the database of the changes also takes seconds
otherwise your WD will not understand .dvd

Did you at least try it with one .dvd to see if it works

Thanks

rename one of your .dvd to .iso and it should work lmce will also see .iso with no issue  Grin

if it works then go ahead and rename all your .dvd to .iso
