The preferred way of installing LinuxMCE these days is:

* Install regular (*)Ubuntu 1404 Desktop (32 or 64)
* Run netinstall.

Enjoy :-)

To add to what Tschak said: Phenigma had good success moving from system to the next by using the regular LinuxMCE Backup and Restore which is available from the web admin.

Hello all,

Dianemo graciously donated the source code of the iOS Roaming Orbiter to the LinuxMCE project.

Uplink did all the work talking to Dianemo and getting the source code to. It is, as of 5 minutes ago, available via git from

git@git.linuxmce.org:linuxmce/roamingorbiterios.git

or

https://git.linuxmce.org/linuxmce/roamingorbiterios

Thanks Radu for getting us the code, and for all the work you have done for the project. We wouldn't be where we are now without your help.

Best regards from (currently) Appomattox, VA.

I am trying to find a solution. I am using Roaming Orb on my iPad as well, and even though it no longer is my favourite orbiter (which is now the Joggler), it is still very much in use. But I rarely upgrade iOS versions....

Do the new iOS version do not allow already installed 32bit apps? It was my understanding that you are still able to use them, but won't be able to install them in the future.

Looks like it to me. At least I would give that a try.

To me that looks as if the 375 driver was active and installed while you tried to reinstall it.

But I have been wrong before.

All qOrbiter sources are in the regular git repository.

Unfortunately, creating an iOS app is a bit more complicated than just building it. The process to get it into the store for general consumption is not easy, especially for an app like qOrbiter which needs, for testing and evaluation purposes, a running LinuxMCE system.

golgoj4 is the creator and master of everything qOrbiter related. He might chime in.

We are coming full circle :-D - about 8-9 years ago the script already used the latest available kernel.

You need to be a bit more verbose.

Now it is time for you to be a bit more verbose with your error description.

After golgoj4 asked me, I looked a bit. The latest available version is

http://deb.linuxmce.org/lmce-qorbiter-android_2.0.0.46-20170413_all.deb

See if that works for you. If it doesn't, more information is needed.

You are welcome.

Nevermind, I think I found the issue.

Please do another apt-get update and apt-get upgrade and see if that fixes the issue. If it doesn't, do
Code: [Select]
apt-get install --reinstall lmce-core lmce-install-scripts
but as always, try the regular apt-get update / upgrade first.

Thanks
