ui2 might have the same problem also.  I checked LaunchManager.log, thats all that showed up.  It still said some devices failed to load
Code:

it doesn't matter which one.  With ui1 as long as you keep pressing the remote button every 10 or 15 mins its fine. useable.  ui2 is very unuseable
63  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Fresh Beta2 install failed on: December 04, 2009, 04:02:39 am
I have also gotten the error on both betas dvd.  could never get beta 1 to work, I haven't had any problems with beta2 dvd, except for that error, at least not on the core.

65  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Beta 2 pulic keys on: December 04, 2009, 03:54:04 am
Same thing here, added the missing keys, I had 2 of them. apt-get update, apt-get dist-upgrade still only 180 listed in the restricted drivers.

I don't think its the screensaver.  I set it to 60 seconds and watched a video for a good 5 minutes.  When I restarted the eee pc I actually watched it boot all the way up.  It said that something failed to start.  Where would I look to see what failed.

phenigma, have you tried playing a video file in ui1 yet.  After about 10 minutes, my screen goes black.  The video is still playing because I can hear sound.

I can not get the eee box to run with ui2 no matter what.  ui1 at 720p works fine.  is there anything special I need to do to get ui2 working.
71  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Help with ivtv on: November 14, 2009, 06:41:27 am
Alright, I got it to work somehow, not sure how.  Now I have a problem with one of my tuners.  I have 2 pvr500s they are dev/video27, dev/video0, dev/video1, and dev/video2.  mythtv won't work with /dev/video27, if I change it from 27 to 3 it works.  If I reboot or reload it goes back to 27.  How can I make it stay with 3

74  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: PVR 150 on LiuxMCE myth not working error on: March 02, 2009, 11:40:39 pm
Did you set up a provider for the tuner.  64 bit shouldn't matter at least it doesn't with pvr 500
75  LinuxMCE / Users / Creating a new media scenario on: February 18, 2009, 01:23:28 am
How would I go about creating a new media scenario for my tuner. In the web admin, under media scenario, I go through the Add Media Scenario, Type my Description, choose Entertain area.  After that it gives me an option to choose my device, both my tv, and reciever is highlighted in red.  It says Devices in red do not have any media types set on the A/V Properties page or they are not assigned to this entertain area. They are assigned to the area, ho how do I set media types.
