LinuxMCE / Installation issues / MD in 810 final random reboots

810 has been installed for a few weeks now and seems stable on the core, however, when I'm in computing for example watching live programming from twit.tv, after about 20 mins the system reboot.
I've played DVD and have similar experience, but DVD freezez after around 45 mins. Does it on all DVDs. Any advice?

LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Observation: DVD's that can cause issues on the core

At one point I bought a number of lite-on drives and they all failed after about 6 months of use. As a matter of fact, just replaced one with the ASUS. I will give the other models a try and see what type of life and recordings I get from the .
Follow-up question:
I see many programs out there for making backup of dvd's, however, none extract the files to the Linuxmce format of .dvd. What program can I use to do that ?
Currently the files are in folders in their RAW format and when I copied a folder to my NAS It would not play, but it will on my Windows PC.

LinuxMCE / Users / OSD for my TV not centered
|

Hello,
I've done a lot of research and tried a number mod's to change the display settings many times causing X to not start and eventually required to re-install and start over. In the wizard I have selected 720p as my screen output for my Sony Wega projection tv. The TV is connected via HDMI out from my Pioneer Elite receiver with an output selection of digital.
OSD for Orbiter is sized correctly, maybe just a touch too large but I've been able to adjust that from the advanced settings.
Like I stated above, I've tried playing with mode lines, but I'm just not the rocket scientest it takes to understand exactly what I'm doing there and have been reading to try and make sense of it.
Its within KDE that everything goes haywire. The screen is badly off to the left, all of the controls for the environment are off the screen to the bottom, cannot visually see any.
Q: Is there a way to adjust all this whereby switching between KDE and OSD Orbiter are the same ? Pic of my screen attached.

LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: Orbitor screen resolutuion on Flytouch 2

When I use the Web browser it is positioned to the left of the screen and only half screen. I have tried different configurations for sizes and none appear to have any affect. I do a full regen after each change and restart the router, but I get the exact same size every time.
Any suggestions would appreciate it.

Thanks for the feedback.
Magner, I am running the apk. Download and installed fine. Created the proxy orbiter and it works like a charm. However, it is not full screen at all, it does look a little like the size of a PDA screen
