Did you mark the files as TV shows (as a subtype)
The amazon echo has final made it way to the UK and I'm excited to get my hands on one, just wondering if anyone had looked in to adding a Linuxmce skill to control basic home automation like lights and heating ect, it seems like someone has created a skill for our slightly common sister vera but it annoyingly connects via there in house web interface so even though the code has familiar terminology like Device Ids ect it just wont simply port over.
the amazon alexa system looks simple enough at creating a skill using node.js the issue i have is just trying to think of the best way of implementing a secure external api type interface so that the external amazon alexa voice service can send and receive commands to our internal DCErouter.
Just thought id put it out there and see if anyone had looked into this or had any ideas of the best way of implementing a solution.
ok, I opened a new thread for the auto-tagger.
Qorbiter on my second device is still not working. I cannot browse any kind of media. I did as you suggested. I downloaded the latest build I can get my grubby hands on. I uninstalled the old one from the phone, installed the new one. Upon opening I select the proper device, but I don't get any media presented. The rest seems to work. Having my tablet and my phone set to TV-Set and starting VDR, both are properly synchronised.
One other thing I came across checking the youtube-videos. I had asked you before about the built-in mediaplayer. I just wanted to check this again, but I cannot select "This Device" anymore. Right now I can switch between the areas in the house, but thats it.
Okay, it seems to run, but whatever it does, is probably not what it should do.
Just for the fun of it, I created an empty logfile to see, if perhaps something will show up there, but I only succeeded in not getting the access denied. It did not tag any files nor wrote anything in the log.
I watched this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQr66QRLGh4 several times in total wonder and amazement...but its not working on my side.
Shall I created a ticket?
very nice indeed....is this a new build? if so, where I can download it from? I just updated my linuxsystem, but other than new kernel, I didn't see anything for qorbiter.
Since you also went to TV-Shows, I found the way you selected the episodes very interesting. I admit, it has been a while since I looked into that section, but I will try. Before I always had trouble finding the proper episode other than in fileview.
It connects but like I said...no media is being presented....like the problem I had before...maybe there is still some old config snag on that phone
Am i right to assume, that every phone or Tablet needs its own qorbiter device?
Right now i have a tablet and an android phone, each got their own device. The tablet is working nicely, the phone not so much...i cannot browse any media and subsequently not play anything using that phone.
Hello To all,
This is a follow up. I found the issue. I added in my Multiple tests the the IP where it says on web admin "Server IP", this must have to left empty!. It Added 3 times the bulbs, I think because this was the times I tried to download. The first 2 sets did not respond to any commands so I removed them.
Result!. Philips Hue Working on 1404!.
