Hello LMCE folks,

I have some high quality merten connect z-wave items for sale. They've high WAF. If you always hated the cheap feeling of ACT, Duewi and other brands, this is the real stuff for you:

Drapes (2nd row item 1 and 2)
2x Drapes/Blind insert 580698 together with Z-Wave paddle 503544 - 45.- EUR each

Dimmer (2nd row item 3 and 4)
1x Superdimmer insert 577099 with Z-Wave paddle 502644 - 60.- EUR SOLD
1x Superdimmer insert 577099 with Z-Wave with silver paddle and silver frame  - 60.- EUR
SOLD

Switch (3rd and 4th row)
5x Electronic switch insert 576799 with Z-Wave paddle 502444 - 35.- EUR each SOLD
3x Relais insert 576897 with Z-Wave paddle
- 45.- EUR each
SOLD

Remote switch (1st row)
3x merten "Funktaster" remote switch. 2x single paddle, 1x dual paddle. One is lacking the black mounting base but can be clipped into merten frames (e.g. together with a wall outlet - double frame and power outlet included for free). - 30.- EUR each
SOLD
Please note that each "switch" consists of two items: the insert that is wall mounted and the z-wave paddle which goes on top. That's why you see two merten product numbers per item. You can use any frames with 55mm. A lot of european vendors have 55mm frames in their program. I've some frames left, so if someone buys a good chunk, i'll add some Merten frames for free.
The dimmer and the electronic switch inserts don't need a neutral wire (2-wire). All items are in good condition without any flaws.

Users / Another commercial LinuxMCE variant
« on: October 19, 2012, 10:19:54 pm »
If you're interested in a commercial variant of LinuxMCE, you now have another choice besides Dianemo: Schneider Electronics/Merten Uniq. Some pictures:

It only supports KNX for now but from what I know it is well integrated and has a few additions on top of the LinuxMCE stack (the Orbiter was enhanced). You can also run a version that is integrated in a panel.

Developers / Melloware LightSwitch iPhone App support
« on: March 16, 2011, 05:03:38 pm »
Hi Folks,

another quick and dirty proof of concept: Melloware LightSwitch iOS App support. The following python script allows one to control DCE light devices with the Melloware Lightswitch application. You need to enable RPC-Plugin. Also works with LinuxMCE.

Users / 1wire support
« on: January 19, 2011, 11:12:15 am »
Hi Folks,

I did write a DCE device for the owfs 1wire driver. Device Template #2161. The code is here: http://svn.linuxmce.org/trac.cgi/browser/branches/LinuxMCE-0810/src/OneWire/

Just create "Multilevel Sensor" Childs and put the 1wire ID into the port/channel field. The DCE device will store the last measurement and only send events when things have changed. Only temperature sensors supported atm:

35   01/19/11 11:11:30.628      Temperature for 28.B3795602000: 25.62 <0xb78c9b70>
35   01/19/11 11:11:30.628      Old temperature for 28.B3795602000: 25.56 <0xb78c9b70>
07   01/19/11 11:11:30.629      Received Message from 233 (1wire temp / ) to -1001 (unknown / ), type 2 id 25 Event:Temperature Changed, retry none, parameters: <0xb2cfdb70>
07   01/19/11 11:11:30.629        Parameter 30(Value): 25.62 <0xb2cfdb70>

Users / New PLCBUS driver
« on: December 19, 2010, 10:17:16 pm »
Hi Folks,

I did write a new PLCBUS driver. The old one from ddamron was written as a GSD and had some issues. The new one is a multithreaded c++ DCE device. It should be much faster and more reliable. There is also a pnp script to auto-detect the PLCBUS 1141 adapter. The driver is included in the latest 0810 beta2. The wiki instructions are not yet updated.

If you have any wishes for new features or want to provide feedback: feel free to post.
