The driver for xorg is nvidia.
for the MD the config in web admin is
Video Card : Geforce or TNT2
Hardware acceleration : opengl

When I don't launch the Media Director (then only core and KDE is running) then everything is ok. no crash.

This is since I install the new video card.??

Hello,

I am trying to make my laptop Fujitsu-Simens Amilio 1603 using the Disk-less fonctionality from The core.
My problem is that my laptop is booting well from net but after a while I have this message :

C03d9230 UNKNOWN_boot option+0x0/0x260
acpi_processor_idle+0x37d/0x3f7 [processor] SS:ESP
...
kernel panic not syncing : Attempted to kill the idle process!

At this time the Core is hanged. I must reset it
My laptop is completly hanged too. I had to remove the batterie to shutdown.

Thanks

hello everybody,

In fact I will install DVD on a pc for core and I would like to lan boot for a MD.
My question is how I must connect my media device (TV,sat, audio,...) to the MD. I don't have any serial input on the tv nor dvd nor audio.

If I install a PC-TV card in the Core, I could look tv on every MD?

Thanks.
