Users / USB UIRT IR Issues!
« on: December 28, 2011, 05:23:57 pm »
Hey Guys,

I added a new MD for my living room, after creating the new MD and setting up the A/V Pipes I have managed to send IR commands using the Webadmin however it doesn't work using any of my orbiters.

I get the following error in my USB UIRT Log

Return code: 127

and this in the DCERouter Log

My other MD works fine. I have confirmed the the pipes are all correct (used A/V Wizard) regen orbiters and reloaded and rebooted (rinse and repeat) yet still no joy.

Any advise or ideas would be greatly appreciated. This setup was working but because my old MD died I installed a new one so created it from scratch :(

Hey Newguy2,

I had a similar problem and had to disable compatibility mode under settings > Spare parts
Not sure if it will help  you though!

Very nice indeed!
It also runs  on the  HP Touchpad (Running CyanogenMod).

Hey All,

I just paired up my Energy Monitor with my Stick. It has added a Multilevel Sensor under the ZWave Embedded Climate Interface, however when it prompted for a reload I pressed Yes and it seems to loop the core and the Blue Reload screen keeps appearing every time I click yes. I can not see anything obvious in the logs so what should I be looking for?

Good work, can't wait to update and have a play.
Also just an FYI, the Dianemo app appears to not play nice with iOS5 :/

Nice work!

If I get time tomorrow I will give this a shot on mine.  I am planning on getting another one of these (I actually have the  ID40-U) for my living room, they work really well IMO!

And none of my test email events function.

Hey tkmedia,

With the Power Meter do you know if it aggregates the clamps or can you get individual readings from it?

Hey All,
I have just bought a couple of the Aeon-Labs Home Energy Monitors, just wondering are these already supported?

Thanks Thom,

I plan to make a template for these, the problem I face with plug and play on these devices is the mac changes on boot each time if you don't set the mac address in the U-boot env variable). Not so much a problem if you follow a guide which I will write up soon.
The only reason I asked about mjpg on the orbiter was because I am seeing a delay of over 10 seconds before the image refreshes. I haven't got any motion sensors yet so not sure if this would make any change to the refresh rate?

Sorry if these questions sound dumb, I haven't looked into it all yet.

Just a quick update on this,
I have managed to get 2 x C910's working on the dockstar with OpenWRT, thanks to a heap of help from the UVC devs and some module patching.
I currently have Linuxmce pulling a snapshot off the 2 cameras using different ports. For example;

webcam01 - http://192.168.80.140:8081/?action=snapshot
webcam02 - http://192.168.80.140:8082/?action=snapshot

However I would like to use the motion jpeg support from mjpg-streamer as I am able to do 30fps @ 1280x960 (rather excessive and I will drop this down to something lower) but when I try to add the stream url instead of the snapshot url the device template times out (using generic IP Camera). So my question is this; is it possible to use the motionjpeg stream with linuxmce, I am not using motionwrapper I plan on using a external PIR.

Cheers
