Hi Justin
You need to copy your channels.conf from you core to all of your MD's and thats it
You should really be using mythtv as well works allot better here in Australia

Hi All
Just leting every one know that the Happauge Wintv-Nova-T-500 seems to work flawlessly under 810 and Mythtv but we need to make a device template for it now
21  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: HDHomeRun DVB-T version.... (AU) on: April 02, 2009, 06:50:44 am
Hi All
Just an update
I have the HDHomeRun dvb-t working in LinuxMCE 810 alpha 2 what I did was
1  wget http://ppa.launchpad.net/mythbuntu-testing/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/m/mythbuntu-weekly/mythbuntu-weekly_1-0ubuntu0+mythbuntu2_all.deb
2 then install that package

this adds mythbuntu-weekly.list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d

3 apt-get update

4 apt-get install mythtv-backend mythtv-frontend mythtv-database

this pulls those and a few other packages from mythbuntu

5 then go into mythtv setup and add the tuner's and scan for channels and away it went

Problems
no sound in HD sound is fine in SD

23  LinuxMCE / Developers / Re: Restart/Catch-Up TV on: March 31, 2009, 06:25:15 am
Hi Colin

The Nova T-500 work fantastic in 810 no faults at all
the HDHomeRun gets detected by linuxmce fine even in 710 but the problem is myth does not now what to do with the dvb-t format from what I have read there is a patch for myth 021 wich will fix the problem and then we can make it fully plug and play in LMCE 810

27  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: Send to all MD's in house problem on: February 05, 2009, 05:27:13 am
the system I have at home has been running 710 rc2 from day 1
The only other thing i am thinking is my core is i386 and the MD in the Home Theatre Room is running i386 and the rest are running AMD64 ?
28  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: Send to all MD's in house problem on: February 05, 2009, 04:33:04 am
True
and i understand that part but as i said it was working but its not any more and its the only thing i can think of at the moment that i have changed besides the audio is also hdmi as well
I will do some testing when i get home i have 7 MD's i will see if any will work
29  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: Send to all MD's in house problem on: February 05, 2009, 03:28:32 am
Hi Guys
I have the same problem but it did work  what I was wandering could it have some thing to do with the output Eg 1 MD is using HDMI and the other is using VGA not sure if I am on the right track or not but i am sure that mine was working fine till I changed it from VGA to HDMI
I am probably  barking up the wrong tree  Huh
