Have you adjusted the frequency too?

My 32" LCD only likes higher refresh frequencies.

3  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Installation problem - lists missing??? on: August 29, 2007, 07:07:54 pm
Hi,
I am trying to convert over from xpMCE, running the quick install DVD. Having a few issues with setting the resolution on my Sony  32" LCD using the VGA input, but can set to an odd setting that allows me to see all the screen ok. So far so goood!
When I get to the setup screen for the home, and I try to add media to control (I want to control my cable box via IR) or even setting the location, The menu box is black with no contents, when I type London, it finds it ok, so I am guessing its there but somethings wrong and its not displaying correctly?
Its the same when I try to add my cable box, I select cable box, then it asks for the make or select from the list, but the list is an empty black box.

Any ideas?

The dvd installer is great btw, much easier than the last installer.   Smiley

Thanks

Tailzer
