Hi purps, I got live stream in a web browser. There are 3 types of apps inside it's internal BOA web server (ActiveX, JAVA, and Push). I usually used push with mozilla and works, and I think that it's Motion JPEG and not still JPEG.
Take a look to this part of the webcam log. It's like it is continually downloading a file?....LMCE spects a .jpg picture and its receiving something more, like a video....
Buffer sent. <0xb4f70b90> 10 09/17/11 4:19:27.160 Receiving buffer from 192.168.80.201 with max size 16384 and timeout 5000... <0xb4f70b90> 10 09/17/11 4:19:27.203 Receiving buffer from 192.168.80.201 with max size 16384 and timeout 5000... <0xb4f70b90> 10 09/17/11 4:19:27.207 Receiving buffer from 192.168.80.201 with max size 16384 and timeout 5000... <0xb4f70b90> 10 09/17/11 4:19:27.208 Receiving buffer from 192.168.80.201 with max size 16384 and timeout 5000... <0xb4f70b90> 10 09/17/11 4:19:27.210 Closing connection to 192.168.80.201 <0xb4f70b90> 10 09/17/11 4:19:27.223 Method call ended. <0xb4f70b90>
But I read that the IPC-1002 cam supports both types of streams. I can't get information in order to change that kind of transmition. Also, I found that the camera has some internal paramitters but i didn't touch them at this time.
Is there another kind of template based on motionJPEG ??
Thanks, Hernan

LinuxMCE / Users / Re: xine-lib and video playback issues?

Hey guys, Libxine2 works great, with the following configuration: libxine2 and pluto-xine-player 2.0.0.44.11071324189 and lastes nvidia drivers.
Just one issue that I found was try to play a .mkv file that has video, audio, and subs tracks. It just playback the file and you get a grey screen, the subs and audio, (you can't see the video because you will see a grey screen). It's seams like it is related with vdpau and "pluto-xine-player 2.0.0.44.11071324189". One thing that I tried was change the vdpau acceleration to xv, and you can see the video but it's not an intelligent solution for my Zotac HD-ID11, because the 1080p videos are unwachable.
Could someone provide to me a new version of pluto-xine-player to be used with libxine2 ? I think that the newers version of pluto-xine could fix this issue. Thanks in advance,
Sorry by my english, Regards, Hernan

Hello guys, I have the same issue with my c7970. Also I have dpkg -l|grep pluto-proxy ii pluto-proxy-orbiter 2.0.0.44.11071324189 <insert up to 60 chars description>
I create /usr/pluto/orbiter/bits but c7970 didn't connect. If I do a ls for /usr/pluto/orbiter/bits i get only one directory called "174". that is the weborbiter device, the ID for 7970 orbiter is "54".
I made a full regenerate for my c7970 orbiter but nothing happens. What can I do now?
Thanks in advance. Hernan

phenigma, I'm running 0810 and libxine2 but I found problems when I trying to play a .dvd file, and pluto-xine-player crash... Did you test it with DVDs over 0810?
Thanks in advance, Hernán
