you can try to play with the settings from xset in the wminputd script.

the settings i gave were optimal for my situation but you can slow down the mouse acceleration!

i haven't looked at multiple wiimote's but i will soon!

Hello all,

I'm glad to hear people can use it!
Would it be possible to get this functionality in the linuxmce 0710 final?

With kind regards,

@MediaMonkey
You can use almost every linux supported bluetooth dongle!

@bashers
Well it depends on what you wanna do with it!

I can't use it with mythtv but there i have a normal ir remote for.
The rest like playing audio video media and play forward and backward volume that is what i can do with the wiimote.

No thanks at all!!

i think i have forgot something so i hope someone can test it and report any failures on its way!

Is it possible that something like this can be part of lmce so i do not have to create the scripts and al again??

Also removed the stub from the wiki!!

Hello,

from the logging i could make up that you have a wrong device setup in the backend!

>2008-03-19 19:10:02.324 DVBChan(0) Error: Tune(): Setting Frontend tuning parameters failed.
                        eno: No such device (19)

is your card recognized and can you create an mpeg file with cat /dev/video0 > video.mpg and can you play that file with mplayer?

Users / Re: 305 dpi fontsize? HUGE cannot setup mythtv
« on: March 19, 2008, 08:56:50 pm »
Well problem solved!!

It was in the xorg.0.log

But i guess when i start X the second time my tv is differently read using EDID (i am using that becuese then it can find the right resolution)

Well i saw that it also used the dpi settings from the option "UseEdidDpi" probably because i enabled the UseEDID option so i disabled the option like:

Option "UseEdidDpi" "false"

and rebooted

Now i have normal fonts in kde!!! resolution according xdpyinfo is now: 121x109 and before i turned that option off it told me 305x305

Thanx zaerc!!

With kind regards

Users / [SOLVED] 305 dpi fontsize? HUGE cannot setup mythtv [SOLVED]
« on: March 19, 2008, 05:16:52 pm »
Hello,

i am testing the latest beta and after a small glitch i was able to put my resolution to 1920x1080p
but now when i start mythtv-setup the fonts are HUGE so HUGE i cannot setup my mce 150 card!

I have tried setting the actual display size in the monitor section from xorg.conf to 100 dpi but nothing changes when lmce starts X

when i start X by hand from the commandline the fonts are small so i guess lmce does something with the dpi size!

Can someone point me into the right direction? Where do i look!

With kind regards

What is not working?

when i send commands from the web interface i have to select the device (dimmable light module) then from the top screen you can choose send command to the device

from there select the action you want!!

on
off
set level

always ask for delivery notification

When i try it on the main screen nothing happens with the buttons on/off/level 50

i compiled the source and it seems to be working!!!!

steps to take for i386 architecture ( i don't have the 64 bit lmce).

make a backup copy off:
cp /usr/pluto/bin/CM11A /root/
cp /usr/pluto/bin/Lighting_Plugin.so /root/
cp /usr/pluto/lib/libSerial.so /root/

then remove those files!!!
rm /usr/pluto/bin/CM11A
rm /usr/pluto/bin/Lighting_Plugin.so
rm /usr/pluto/lib/libSerial.so

download the file http://www.cobradevil.org/downloads/lmce_CM11A_i386_beta2_3.tgz

unpack the file like this:

tar -xzf lmce_CM11A_i386_beta2_3.tgz -C /

- remove the CM11A device from the wall outlet
- reboot (optional) but preferred i guess
- then remove the CM11A interface from the pluto web interface
- plug the CM11A back into the wall outlet
- then recreate that device add some lights
- then reload router and you should be set!!!

Hello,

good job!!!

I have all the problems that seems to be fixed in this code!!
When i turn on the lights i get a checksum error and the cm11a device wil be disabled.
I then have to choose the serial port again but then i also have to enable the child device but when i turn on/off the lights again i have to do all off the above again. So this would be my saving!!!!

But how do i compile the source.
Can someone upload the binaries for the beta2/3 release so we can test this?

With kind regards

William van de Velde
