Looks good... Smiley

Though having blue and green colour makes it too much WinXP for comfort :p

 Cheesy

Is there any news about the KDE4 integration? Is LinuxMCE going to be using some existing GUI frameworks?
17  LinuxMCE / Users / Mock up: Blue Bar theme on: October 09, 2007, 08:59:48 pm
While we are waiting for a good skinning solution I made this mock up of a possible skin to LinuxMCE. I called it Blue Bar and its a clean "glass" bar design taking up a minimum of screen real estate  while still being nice looking.

What do you think?

Nice to hear, could you please share your answer with the rest of the forum? Then someone who has the same problem later will find your solution.
19  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: I wish ATI was better supported I like this board on: September 28, 2007, 01:46:23 pm
Agree, I think this full ATX board also looks good: http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=335582

But there is hope: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=821&num=1

The AMD fglrx 8.41 driver features a brand new underlying code-base that has been under development for well over a year. At Phoronix we have literally spent hundreds of hours using and testing this new driver, and to say the least it is truly a new experience on the ATI Linux front.

23  LinuxMCE / Installation issues / Re: 1.1 Beta 2 -- is it working for you ?! [PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS] on: May 26, 2007, 12:47:43 am
From the wiki:
Quote
With the beta 1 CD released May 16, 9% of users were unable to boot Kubuntu or install the Kubuntu live CD. Of those that could, 56% reported problems installing LinuxMCE, however nearly all those problems resolved around 3 issues: (1) a bug in the LMCE installer, (2) a samba packaging issue, (3) a bug in the KDE network manager. All three have been fixed in the May 25 beta 2. As soon as we confirm that the number of users reporting installation issues with LinuxMCE 1.1 beta is less than 15%, we will make it an official release.

There is no bonus CD yet. I don't think the videos are made yet, and the text is for future versions.

27  LinuxMCE / Users / Re: Are there any themes for LinuxMCE available? on: May 15, 2007, 11:44:57 am
I found this wiki page: http://wiki.linuxmce.com/index.php/Create_my_own_skins_or_GUI_for_LinuxMCE

And this PDF manual for HADesigner: http://plutohome.com/download/docs/HADesigner_user_manual.pdf

I think I will have a go at this. Smiley
28  LinuxMCE / Users / Are there any themes for LinuxMCE available? on: May 15, 2007, 10:16:15 am
Hello

Is it possible to change the theme in LinuxMCE?

If not, how do I change the standard theme?

Thanks
