there is no 32 bit, actually is 24 bit. you can change it from /etc/X11/xorg.conf.pluto in Section "Screen".

well I want test linux mce on virtual pc 2004. What should I edit that I can run it, because I have changed  "defaultdepth" and "depth" to 16 but i can not see the right screen.

That was it I just changed it from UI2 without Alpha to UI1.  Thanks

how can I change Display Settings on my MCE from 32bit to 16bit?
