Have you double checked that you have enough extra space on your hard drive?

Did you happen to record your Webcast?

I'd like to watch what happened since I was unable to attend.

Q: How do I compile and install a single library/application?
Quote
To build Applications, you should fetch it from the SVN repository, then go into Application directory and run:
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b

This will build the Application packages (bin, debug, dev) and will put them into parent folder.

Note that if some required packages are missing, it will give you an error and stop. You can install required packages and retry.

Thanks for the tutorials.  They are going to be a lot of help!

I'm going to start working with HADesigner as soon as my finals are over.

You need to download

http://releases.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/feisty/kubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386.iso

You can also search on isohunt for kubuntu 7.04 desktop i386.  When I looked it had more seeds than the piratebay.

And follow the 2 cd guide (since you want to partition your hard drive)

http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Download_Instructions     "2 CD Installer"

The 2 CD Installer will automaticlly upgrade your installation to where it needs to be (assuming it upgrades kubuntu to 710 also) and will then install the latest LinuxMCE RC 710.

Just follow the wiki ;)
