Does anyone knwo how to fix this issue ?

after i installed linuxmce and i go to the desktop all characters are too small to read.. any advice ?

When you installed the ubuntu installation  was there sound after it was finished ?
Sounds like you havent installed the correct drives. I had similar issues with  the mega 180 nice box,  not enough funtionality for me.

I see that Freeview EPG's can be loaded,  but on a hyperthetical point of view could the EPG's for Cable TV ie. non-freeview be loaded into LinuxMCE ?
