Users / Database setup issues?

so i have linuxmce on a dual boot with windows i can rip dvds. one partition for windows one partition for linuxmce and another partition for all the media. the media partition is formatted in fat32 and mce can play the files but from the pluto admin site i cant access them to edit the tags. any ideas?

Users / Samba woes.

so im having some serious samba trouble. the linux mce machine appears on the windows network from a windows machine but the message "The Server service has not started" comes up and i cant pint the linux machine from the doze. now on the other side when i enter into the network neighborhood not even the workgroup comes up but i can ping the doze machine from the linux. at this point i have a mega headache.
here is a dump of my smb.conf file maybe you guys can see something im missing?

Users / Playlists not showing in LMCE

I tried making a playlist of songs using pluto from another pc but the playlist does not appear in the list. any one got any info on that?

im on my third attempt at installing linux mce with every attempt i keep getting the same message then the installer hangs. ### package pluto-orbiter failed (tmp/tmp.NLvud11451) does any one know the reason for this problem and subsequent hang and perhaps a fix or work arround? thanks in advance.
