Users / Transfer video through LinuxMCE Admin?

Is there a way to transfer a video file from one computer using the LinuxMCE Admin web interface to the core?  I have a video on a computer that is not connected directly to the core.  Can I log into the core using the LinuxMCE Admin Web interface from the machine with the video and transfer it to the core?  I am able to log on from the non linuxmce computer, but I don't see any options in the web interface to transfer files, is there a way?

Installation issues / attempted wiimote install, Could not open lock file

I am attempting to install the wiimote.  I have used Putty on my windows machine that is connected directly to my hybrid/core to use ssh.  When I try to do the first step I get the following:

I thought linuxmce was root but the error message indicates maybe not?
What do I need to do to correct the above?

Installation issues / rs232 tv control

I have a pioneer 1140hd tv.  It was not automatically detected at installation.  I went under the admin website and under wizards, av equipment I added the closest tv template I could find (elite tvs).  I have plugged the serial cable into com port 1.  I have selected /dev/ttys0 in the av equipment.  I have a hybrid/core.  I know the serial cable and pioneer tv work, because I used tera term from a laptop and sent it the power off command and power on command and they both worked.  In a/v properties I have attempted to enter the command to turn off the tv in the off box and hit "test" button with no success.  It says it sent the command to device #19.  The command to turn off the TV is hex 02 **POF hex 03.  My problem may be that I do not know the correct syntax to make it send this command.  What is the correct way to put the hex number 02 plus the **POF plus the ending hex number 03 into the off box?

Users / Freeze Up, what to do next?

I just installed LinuxMCE RC2 386 on a hybrid system and have been playing around with it.  I went into pictures and viewed the flickr pics.  There was one I found objectionable so I tried to delete it and the screen has frozen.  The mouse will move the cursor around, but can't get it to do anything else.  Mouse clicks don't do anything.  What do I do next when I get a freeze up like this, other than turning the power off to the computer and restarting it?

Users / PS3 as Media Director

Has anyone tried to use a PS3 as a Media Director?  Since PS3 can run Ubuntu, is this a fesible MD?
