I think for Europe the stuff from ELV is very very interessting. See my other post here http://forum.linuxmce.com/index.php?topic=1326.0

But I think the option that a Router can do all the DHCP stuff would be great to!!
Because all of us using a Ipcop router ore something like this it is not so nice to disable the easy to use configuration of the blue, orange and green net especially when you recognize that people would like to put Linuxmce in the DMZ...

Just my 2 cents

There is a little project in Germany where some folks developed a first possibility to run the ELV System under Linux. So maybe you can put it to the Linuxmce/PLuto stuff?

http://fhz4linux.info/tiki-index.php (english)

So what do you mean??

Here is some interessting stuff for people from Europe esp. Germany.

Here is the english catalouge for this stuff: http://www.elv-downloads.de/downloads/printmedien/electronics_highlights/ElectronicHighlights2006.pdf

Please watch the sites 6 to 10. The heart of this system is the FHZ 1000 and the FHZ 1300 Wlan.

Do you think you can run it under linuxmce? In Germany the System is running under Windows
(www.ip-symcon.de)

And another implementation of the ip-symcon project in Microsoft mce maybe it it is possible to
run the ELV Stuff like with mce under linuxmce? I´m sorry this side is german only, but the pictures are interessting, too...)

Greetings E.
