Developers / Re: Android Scenario Widget

And an exaggerated concept of what a 3x4 widget with multiple buttons inside might look like: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30586759/multiple%20buttons%20within%203x4%20widget.png

I have no idea if the android widget platform actually allows this kind of thing.

This is doable, and I see that might work on a tablet. However it is not a priority for me I want to keep this as simple as possible for the moment.

PS! if you want to try your self feel free. Android is Java and all the layout is done in xml

Regards
Andreas

Thanks for the nice comments.

I don't thing there is room for more than one button per widget element. One widget element takes up the same space as one normal android application icon, or were you thinking of something else?

This is something I am working on if you are brave you might want to test it out:

Edit: I have uploaded a new .apk. If you have installed an earlier version you need to uninstall that first.

You can try using  Doorbell (button) template #1624 that works for me.

I have managed to build on Ubuntu 11.10 64 bit. This is what I did:

Edited line 336 in DataGrid.cpp to look like this:
Code: [Select]
Message();
Added  "QT += network" to qmake

Have you tried removing one of the "::Message" at that line? If i remember right that worked for me.

Her is some reading http://www.smarthus.info/support/download/zwave/zwave_install.doc

It is also very important to read the manual for the specific device you are using. Different devices can work in very different ways.
